The overall rating is 4/5 is because of minimal paved parking and what events they have each night. I think it is awesome they have events every night, they’re just not for me. I definitely prefer to go during happy hour time and leave before evening events. Roman’s Oasis is a unique dive bar atmosphere spot. It is actually very spacious inside. It has multiple separate sections, which are all different. They have access to a smoking patio from the inside. There is a regular type of bar area, area for larger groups, area for dancing - two I think. I did a quick loop around to check it out but ultimately sat in the front section bar area. If I remember correctly, there are four sections which are separate but also connected that goes around the entire inside. The food was pretty good and they have a large selection. A little on the pricy side, but that’s just how anywhere is these days. I am glad the food was good, which did not make you feel guilty over pricing. There are many items on the menu that I am actually interested in. I had the Cubano Sandwich. The slow roasted pulled pork in it was delicious. The next time I go, I will definitely be trying the pulled pork sandwich. The only thing they were really lacking with the menu was not having a drink menu. One more neat thing is they have shirts that are quirky and funny (for adults). Their merchandise is also available to purchase. Overall, great neighborhood spot!

Really great country bar. Live band plays 9p-1a Fridays & Saturdays, new band every weekend. If you want to get a good table next to the dance floor get there by 8:30. Delicious menu ranges from quesadillas to waffle fries, ribs, the BEST BLT, etc.. priced between $5-$10 bucks. Roman's is CASH ONLY. All the staff is super friendly. Dance floor has a lot of regulars Friday nights, really talented country music dancers are fun to watch. Saturday is much livelier, mixed crowd of dancers makes it a fun atmosphere. The bar splits into 3 main areas, the entrance, band and dance floor area, and the back room. The entrance has games and a long bar to sit at, dance floor area has several high tops to sit/stand at with groups of 4 and a couple 6 tops, plays old country music and a few newer songs here and there, and the backroom has more games to play and is far more for the younger crowd with "pop country" music and hip hop played by a DJ. There's a very delicious taco truck in the parking parking lot you can grab a bite at when you leave. The only downside to this place is the restrooms. You're likely going to be waiting a while for one to open up. There's 1 stall in the front and 2 in the back for women. Pros: location. nice servers. fun atmosphere. Cons: very tiny bathrooms.

I've driven by Roman's for years. I never thought much about it. Looks like a piece of old AZ. Rustic, but clean. The local news announced the 100 year old land mark was encroaching on Yuma road . So progess has it in line Yuma road widening. So I took the son to try it out. OMG, this place us a maze rooms, bar, barstools, booths. I mean it like your private public bar or restaurant. It's, old, you can tell over 100 years of patrons making a suggestions and they built it thats kind of the layout. Ok, check their website for pics. Pics can't convey atmosphere. I went 3 pm Sunday. This place has rooms and places like Disneyland. Food? I ordered the cheezy meatloaf. Presentation 9, portions, I'm 190 and full. Real mashed potatoes, veggies it was 10. Service 10 prices Ave 18 bucks a plate Inc beer. So go, worth it. We all know we have different opinions. I think even though it's not a place for you, it definitely a first time, good time.

We arrived at 1:20am and wanted t to just play pool and grab a drink and possibly dance a little. This was our first time ever being in this establishment.. it was very crowded (not a bad thing) but when I was told by another customer that was going to let us have next game, he said that they were shutting that side of the bar down in 4 minutes. I asked one of the female workers if there was any way they were willing to let us just play 9 ball quickly and she replied that the bouncers would kick us out. So I explained to the bouncer that we were late, however we drove 30 minutes just to play a quick game. Nope, he shut it down and walked away.. The service at the bar was quick, however the bartender rudely told me to get out of the way and move so she could help someone behind me... Again, very crowded and I was already moving to get out of the way. Didn't want to not knock the person over that was literally right next to me. The DJ had a great vibe and interacted and danced with the customers which I thought was awesome. Also the female bouncer out front that night was very polite and listened to me about all this and was doing her job very well. I will return to play a game of pool at an earlier time and try and hit karaoke as well... Smiles, thank you's, and great customer service goes along way and that's usually how I personally will rate...
