Chick-fil-A corporate needs to do something about the ridiculous trend that's going on at their locations in Arizona and probably all over the US.
People love their product... I get it... It is quite delicious.
That being said, the way they have started blocking the roads because the location is not big enough to contain all of the people in the drive-thru has reached epic proportions of stupidity.
If they did not purchase enough land to be able to conduct a business appropriately, they should have opened an additional location. But that's not in the Chick-fil-A business model. They like it this way. It creates a feeling of FOMO, because obviously, everybody is in line for something good, right?
This is sick and wrong. Anyone coming through the strip mall where a Chick-fil-A location is placed, has to deal with the stupidity of their horrendous business practices.
Chick-fil-A Corporate: FIX THIS!!!
Also, a note on how slow this location is: When I arrived, a party of teenagers came in. One of them wanted Panda Express instead of Chick-fil-A. She left, walked to the Panda Express, purchased her food and received it, and came back and is eating it while the rest of them are still online waiting to place the order.
For all the sycophants who are talking about how fast they are here, you're obviously woefully brainwashed to be able to make such a heinously misinformed statement. Or, Chick-fil-A is paying you to lie on their behalf.
Quick update: after waiting close to 25 minutes for my food to be delivered to my table, the soda is so weak that it tastes like water with a slight dash of Coke zero. Additionally, it has that tangy sour flavor which only comes when the soda fountain machines have not been...
Read moreA few weeks ago, my mom was in the hospital, and during one of the hardest nights, I witnessed something that deeply moved me. While we were there, the hospital staff, nurses, correctional officers, and so many others were doing their best to care for an inmate who was being extremely difficult, both verbally and emotionally exhausting to everyone around him. Watching them hold their composure and keep showing up with care and professionalism broke something open in me. I just knew they needed a little support, a small gesture to help carry them through the night.
My first thought? Chick-fil-A. Who doesn’t love it? I called, hoping they could help me pull something together and they immediately said yes. No hesitation. Over 20 meals, made fresh in record time, with every single team member chipping in. They smiled, worked fast, and they offered to help me carry it all out to the car without even being asked.
But then something happened I wasn’t expecting.
Cory walked over to me not just to thank me, but to ask about my mom and how I was doing. In that moment, I completely unraveled. I didn’t even realize how much I needed someone to ask me that. I had been so focused on everyone else that I hadn’t paused to acknowledge how heavy everything felt. His kindness cracked me open in the best way.
I’m sitting here crying as I write this, because Cory’s words reminded me how powerful simple human connection can be. I hope this message finds its way to him, and to the rest of the team who helped make that night just a little brighter. You all did more than feed people, you gave comfort when it was needed most. And I’ll never forget that.
Thank you, from the bottom...
Read moreMy family ordered food from Chick-fil-A this evening via DoorDash. When the food arrived, everything was cold and the chocolate milkshake had the the consistency of chocolate milk. When I phoned the Chick-fil-A and asked for a manager I spoke with a young lady who could not answer my questions and sounded as if she was in tears and then asked me if I could be put on hold, I said sure. Then, , another lady I believe named Sandra picked up the line had a curt tone in her voice and spoke with me. Both of these ladies refused to replace my sandwich, fries, and shake claiming that there was nothing they could do and DoorDash should be taking care of it. I explained to her I only wanted my sandwich, fries and shake to be replaced and I would be happy to do it tomorrow but she still refused. I don’t think this was the best model to use concerning Customer Service, nor do I think it was the best attitude. and way of making your customers happy with their meal, allowing them to want to continue to come back to your restaurant. To say the least, I am thoroughly displeased with this situation and I will never, I repeat never, go to this particular Chick-fil-A again!! ; The principle here is that they simply did not care that I had paid for a meal that was subpar, and they did not want to replace it. Now I ask you, would a sandwich, fries and one shake put them out of business? Of course not. People these days just don’t care, even though they smile in your face without any care to accommodate their customers. I must say I’ve not come across such awful customer service in...
