China Chef — Restaurant in Goose Creek

We ordered sesame chicken and chicken chow mein thinking we would get a noodle dish with the chow mein. Got home and the chicken chow mein was a tray of slimey gross vegetables with a tiny bag of what looked like fried wonton wrapper strips that would have been swallowed up and sogged out immediately if added to the giant tray of translucent slop. We ate the sesame chicken and my husband took the inedible and mislabeled chow mein monstrosity back to the restaurant only to be told by the very dismissive and rude counter lady that he should have brought the food back sooner...as if she could do anything but throw it out regardless of when it was brought back? No wonder this business doesn’t even have a Facebook page - obviously ducking bad reviews. Seriously - go literally anywhere else. This place and their owners do not deserve your money or...

The lady that takes the orders is rude and argumentative. Last month I placed a delivery order. It was 2 hours late. When it was finally delivered it was cold and the delivery person said the street number was on the delivery ticket was wrong. He finally guessed it was us because we were a regular customer. I called and asked for my money back. I was told she could not do that, but she would give me a good discount on my next order. Last night I attempted to place an order and get the discount promised. I was told she could do because she did not run the charge for my credit card the last time, which was not true. All she did both times was to argue, speak louder than me, interrupt me, not let me speak, no consideration at all for her mistake. My order was over $70, which is a lot for Chinese take out. The food has been really good up until now, without any problem today that wasn’t the case, as my daughter tried to eat 2 separate crab sticks there was some kind of small pieces of plastic in it, it seemed to have been cooked right into the batter Eww!! it was disturbing! of course they all had to go in the trash. then we didn’t get any of the white rice that usually comes with the shrimp and broccoli that we ordered and our drink also wasn’t in the bag. though this has never happened before, we will now be looking for a new chinese restaurant. I will not eat from this place again I’m not paying for food that may have who knows what’s in it Would these owners and their workers want to get treated this way at a place they paid...
