Gave this new place a try today and we were not disappointed. Quick delivery and good food, including items you can't get at other Chinese delivery places.
The fried dumplings were excellent, with delicate, thin wrappers and delicious, savory filling. The dipping sauce was thin but not watered-down, salty and packed with flavor. The chicken egg rolls were a bit bland but properly fried. The spring rolls were a bit underfilled and underseasoned, with more wrapper than necessary or enjoyable.
The House Special soup was loaded with veggies: mushrooms, zucchini, onion, broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers in a chicken broth with plenty of chicken, beef, and shrimp. Everything was beautifully cooked and the soup was light but hearty.
I was most excited about my chicken udon noodles, as no other restaurant delivers them. They are my new favorite! Moist, tender chicken, fabulously bouncy noodles, and plenty of yummy white sauce on the side so your noodles don't get soggy.
The orange chicken special was as good as anywhere, with nicely cooked meat and extra sauce underneath so it didn't lose its crispness. Hubby's beef lo mein was very good and he ate it all, which never happens!
While other places may do a better job with some of the appetizer items, the entrees here shine, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. This is real, filling food, not MSG-laden junk that leaves you unsatisfied an hour later. I do want to dig into my udon again, but I am too full! This is our new Chinese delivery go-to! Next time I want to try something from the...
Read moreSo this place is okay and the price is too high for okay food The Hibachi side of the menu is just too much for them to handle I think we should just stick to the Chinese there white sauce was watery like a liquid it didn't even a here to the rice like your typical Japanese white sauce does all it did was liquefied the rice the sauce on the chicken in the shrimp because that's the dinner traits that I have for her but she was very watery and the chicken wasn't Brown and season like typical Japanese hibachi chicken out of the rice itself was Bland just plain rice no egg no bacon no nothing in it very mediocre the Chinese on the other hand my boyfriend had their General Tso's chicken and he said that was pretty good but they also only sell plain rice for their Chinese dinners as well which is crazy to me you will have to pay extra to get it shrimp fried beef fried or chicken fried and their spring rolls was a hot mess all it was was under season hamburger meat wrapped in a light skinned it spring roll dough I can make better spring rolls than that will never come here again completely overrated the only reason why I got two stars was because they did okay on my boyfriend's...
Read moreI tried based of reviews. I'll return. Food was very good mostly. Details below. Me Fun (pancet) was waaaaaayyy too salty like someone forgot they put salt, did it again, then someone salted again for good measure. Sweet & Sour red sauce for the chicken is the BEST I've ever tasted and, but a "large" bowl is NOT a large bowl of sauce.. was a short round bowl and only half full! Not enough for the order as I was told it would be. At least it wasn't watered down like a lot of places started doing. Sweet & Sour tempura chicken was not mushy or greasy. Tasted great! Sesame chicken was excellent. Fried rice has good taste, but it's just rice and the meat - no veggies. Comes with white sauce. Lady at the counter was very nice and helpful with me as a newbie there. No lingering bad aftertaste as happens with many. Meals are one size vs small and large, but I don't know if sizes are different for lunch vs dinner. They use trays - not boxes. If I wanted to eat there vs. takeout, it is very nice and welcoming inside with comfortable seating. As said,...
