Very nice small owned coffee shop. Its inviting atmosphere and good location to the shops in the Summerville square is great. However, I hope the owners see this because the biggest issue is the Wifi barely works or doesnt work at all. I chose to come there instead of a chain store to support small businesses. But after unsucessfully trying to get my laptop to connect for at least half an hour, I had to leave and go to another cofee shop up the street to be able to get my work done. This is really frustrating because I want to support small businesses over corporate stores but I need to be able to do my work at the same time. The lady next to me also said she was unable to connect to the Wifi which she said often doesnt work well there and she was late for her zoom meeting because of it. I know it sounds like a small thing- its a coffee shop not a wifi cafe- but if I can go to a corporate place and know I can enjoy coffee while being able to quietly work in peace then I'm going to go there over somewhere that I can't actually get any work done. Reaching out to inform you of the poor customer service experience I encountered from your employee by the name of Galatia Caley on the morning of 09/02/2021 at your 2007 2nd Ave Suite C, Summerville, SC location. Galatia was extremely rude to my friend who approached her in regards to me being dissatisfied with my purchase (transaction 102752). Galatia constantly interrupted/over talked my friend who is a regular customer at this location. Galatia's behavior is extremely concerning to me and I feel the need to inform you of the matter because as business owners ourselves (myself and my friend) know and understand the importance and value a great customer experience can be to a business.

My latte was given to me with pet hair on the lid and without the whipped topping I ordered. The barista was pleasant, and politely offered to remake my drink and also admitted to forgetting to add the topping. As he was about to remake my drink, a fellow employee asked him to hand her money from the tip jar, and then he proceeded to make my new drink without washing the money from his hands. I stopped him before he could do so and asked him if he would wash his hands before proceeding (which he obliged), but unfortunately the new drink also came with pet hair on the lid. GROSS! Not having the time nor inclination to bother with another drink or a refund, I left and just threw out the drink in the trash.
