I can honestly say that I would probably never go back here again. I have never had a place make me feel more frustrated and flustered in my life. Now I'm all about giving Second Chances when I have an issue..... However in this particular instance I completely regret it. During my first visit which was earlier this last week... we had come with a larger group of people which sometimes can be a little more difficult. We order our drinks and appetizers and food..... I didn't receive my appetizer until almost the very end of the meal after everyone else had already received their food. My daughter ordered a calzone that we added extra pepperoni and spinach.... To which they charge you a dollar per each addition. I don't even think you could call what she had a calzone.... It was pretty much only bread it had maybe for pepperonis inside of it and a couple pieces of spinach and barely any cheese. On top of that we were there over an hour before we received our food. We really didn't even order that much food. Because they were just pizzas and the calzone in a few little items that were fried kids food..... I never was even asked if I wanted a refill on my drink. But I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt so we decided to order something to go this time So I placed my order at 5:22 p.m. for a 16-inch pizza a 12-inch pizza and one of their desserts. When the girl gave me the total I thought that it was high and I made mention of it and I rattled off what I ordered and she said yes that's what you ordered and I was like okay... so when I got there at 5:52 to pick up my order I waited five minutes before even being acknowledged at the register by the bar... then I had to wait for them to get I'm guessing a manager so that they could provide a military discount which was not a big deal. He comes over Rings me out hands me my to go slip with two boxes that weird pizzas..... And I asked where's the desert I ordered.... And I look at the to go slip because I was not provided with a receipt showing that I paid. And I see that I was wrong up for 2 desserts not one. The girl says oh and just walks back to the back. She doesn't tell me that they forgot to make it. I made that assumption when she came back out and never came and said anything to me. And then I waited 10 minutes and the manager let me know that they'll have it just out for me and just a moment. So I waited.... 15 -20minutes for a dessert that I ordered.. at 5:22 p.m. . So by the time I received the desert. It had already been an hour since I placed the order.... There was no apology there was no I'm sorry for the inconvenience nothing just handed it to me and walked away. I understand being a new business and growing pains but I have to say completely unacceptable. ... and of course by the time I got home my pizzas were cold. Which if I'm spending 20-plus dollars on a pizza I want it to be hot when I go to eat it.

We have always been huge fans of Steel City Pizza on Dorchester Rd, and were so excited to get one closer to where we live. We gave this new location at Carnes Crossroads some time to work out any opening quirks. Finally went there this evening for a carry out. You will see below our order on the ticket. Once we arrived to the restaurant and got our pie I noticed the side of our pizza that was supposed to be BBQ Chicken, had nothing but marinara sauce on it with maybe a couple tiny spots of BBQ sauce near the crust. It was explicitly explained to have ONLY BBQ SAUCE on this side of the pizza with the BBQ chicken toppings. So, I sat in the restaurant an additional 20 minutes getting the re-do pizza. By this time, we were ready to get home and eat dinner. Upon getting home and starting to eat the re-do pizza, the side that was supposed to be the BBQ chicken pizza had spots of marinara and yet again only a couple tiny areas of BBQ sauce up by the crust. The remainder of the slice had NO sauce on it what so ever, just dry chicken, red onion, and cheese. We tried to eat it, but between the dryness and mixture of 2 sauces that weren't supposed to be like that, it was absolutely DISGUSTING! If I could give less than a 1 star review I would. There was no management that came over and apologized for the re-do pizza that was still wrong, no compensation, just nasty pizza and cold parmesan dippers once we got home after waiting an additional amount of time for our incorrect food order twice!

Experience/atmosphere/service: 5 stars Pepperoni Pizza: 4.5 stars. Better than most, excellent crust texture, good crust taste (no flour or corn meal taste but it lacked something), excellent doneness on Pepperoni with some having charred edges giving you that great crunch, cheese was great, great cheese string out, good grease roll off (this is a good thing, nobody wants a dry pizza). Sauce was slightly above average, maybe it was too little sauce. Overall I would rate this in the top 5 pizzas in the area. I have 3 pieces for lunch tomorrow we will see how it reheats. If it reheats well it could move to top Update on reheated pizza: Since most people will reheat a pizza in the microwave on 100% power, I decided to run a comparison test. I reheated 2 in the microwave and one in a preheated 450 oven on a pizza stone for comparison. As expected the oven reheat was great. I expected the microwave reheat to be limp and chewy but it actually reheated better most pizzas I've had for leftovers. Yes it did have that telltale microwave limpness to it but not rubbery at all

Have dined in and ordered takeout several times; very good the first couple times I had food from here. Not sure if there was turnover in the kitchen or what, but food quality/freshness seems to have gone downhill. Also, my biggest complaint about most places is when you order takeout, you’re given a time to show up and it’s done way earlier and you get home and can tell it’s been sitting around for 20-30 min prior. That being said I have no issue arriving early and getting it fresh or even waiting longer than initially stated if they’re running behind and still getting fresh food. Today I ordered pizza & wings and the online portal said it would be ready in 30 min. I arrived within 10 min of ordering to wait for it to come out. The host at the front looked at the screen and told me my extra crispy wings were done, but it would be another 15-20 min for my pizza. Right there I knew those wings would not be crispy. I received my food about 15 min later and when I got home which is across the street in Carnes Crossroads (2 min drive) I opened the containers to eat and the wings were soggy and rubbery, not even completely sauced, and the pizza was undercooked and room temp. Went to take a couple slices and half the pie was uncooked on the bottom. I choked down a slice and 2-3 wings and threw the rest out. The timing and freshness of orders has been an issue the last 10 times or so I’ve ordered, but I have continued to go back because of location convenience to our house and with the hope it’ll be really good like the first couple times we had food there. Unfortunately, I may only give it one more shot down the road because I’m sick of paying a good amount of money for food that hasn’t stood up to a burger & fries from McDonald’s drive thru as of lately and is far...

It appears the Summerville location is either under new management or a management team that doesn't care what's going on in the restaurant. I have eaten here many times this past year but last night's experience made it the last time I will eat here. I had been a fan of the Mediterranean wedgie up until last night. It used to be served with nice chunks of marinated chicken inside it. Last night it was served with shredded canned chicken. GROSS! A dinner mate ordered a pizza. It was served on an extremely hot metal pan that was set down in front of her instead of being placed on the former normal table stand. Luckily my 70+ dinner mate didn't burn themselves on the metal pan as they served the rest of the table slices. A second dinner mate ordered their favorite fettuccine pasta meal. The sauce on that meal has changed as well. It was more butter/oil than it was creamy. Someone at the table asked for shredded parm for their meal and was given a 2oz to go container of it to figure out how to sprinkle it on a meal. When we asked for a shaker instead we were told all the shakers had broke in a kitchen accident. And the to go containers were the best they could do.....apparently they didn't realize that the dollar tree store less than 1 mile down the street sells these shakers. With all the issues with our dining experience there was not a manager present on the dining room floor and when we talked to our waiter we were told " Oh I don't know, I am only on my 2nd day working here. " Sadly this is the last time I will visit...
