The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill - Goose Creek, SC — Restaurant in Goose Creek

First visit to this new location and to this restaurant chain. I had the Great Greek Gyro w/ regular fries and drink. Overall, it was yummy. I look forward to future visits to try other options. On a side note, keeping in mind this is a chain restaurant and the location has some restraints, so I'm not sure there are alternatives. The inside seating does feel a little cramped; hopefully the eventual outdoor seating can alleviate this to some degree. The gyro meat seems a little on the skimpy side; perhaps this is an economic choice. Personally, I would've liked twice the meat and half the lettuce; however, if you prefer a lighter, almost salad-like gyro, this is a good option. Fries were great, crispy and satisfying, but I'm eager to try other sides. Lastly, I would encourage getting away from the paper straws. There are far better, cheaper non-plastic,...

I enjoy Greek food and I recently discovered that this restaurant had opened. I chose to brave the afternoon Halloween traffic and venture over for take-out. I do recommend eating here. The dining area is spartan (no relation to the Greek Spartans) but accommodating. The food is wonderful. I had the large Greek salad with salmon. The salmon was grilled perfectly and the dressing is exactly as I expected. I also ordered a lamb and beef gyro, an Athens burger, and a shrimp souvlaki with rice pilaf. Decided to try the "New" Greek restaurant closer to Moncks Corner. Drove to The Great Greek Meditarranean Grill....ordered 2 Gyro's and Lemon Potatoes, gave my Last Name to make sure I was given my order...waited about 15 minutes and the young lady called my name.
