Best DD around! One problem, though... The one thing I always order, from every DD I visit, is a large iced coffee with regular sugar and very little cream. I've learned from experience that the "very little cream" part just doesn't translate well to DD terms. I am in the habit of asking the staff what I have to say in order to get coffee that's still a shade of brown. It's always different. That being said, I prefer this particular DD because, in addition to having the quickest and most friendly staff, they also have the best track record when it comes to listening to my order and producing exactly what I asked for.
They're not perfect, though. I believe that the problem lies in the fact that the person taking the order isn't always the person who makes the drink. When the order gets entered into the computer by one person, then read and filled by someone else, the person making my coffee no longer has any clue what I want. They're just reading numbers on a screen. I know this is the reality of fast food. I don't expect it to go away. What I would suggest to DD, is to add more options into their ordering system. Give your employees the tools they need to succeed.
I've seen a coffee house that let you choose what color you wanted your coffee to be, by picking from a 1-10 color scale. That would be awesome. No more...
Read moreThis used to be a great Dunkin’ Donuts. Most of the people who work there were super friendly, outgoing, really eager to do a good job now it just seems like a bunch of people working there that could care less about customer service and doing a good job at taking care of their customers, both regular as well as occasional customers. Recently, I’ve had a few unpleasant experiences there and as much as I love Dunkin’ Donuts it may be time to go somewhere else because it’s 3 times now I’ve been made to feel unwelcome when I’ve come there to order coffee. I know it’s not a requirement, but I guess I had come to expect to feel welcome when Id walk in or come thru the Dt. but now even the self proclaimed supervisor has a scowl on her face seemingly inconvenienved by people stopping in. Personally when I feel unappreciated as someone spending their hard earned money on a consumable its terribly disappointing. Its too bad really, this establishment was once a happy place for me and my family and as a group are disheartened to see how far below expectations DD has fallen is...
Read moreI went through the drive through and they got my order right. As I pulled up to the window, I was greeted by a very jubilant employee in the background. He was very friendly, but the female employee that was handing me the food seemed either sad, had a lot on her mind, or maybe just didn't want to be there. Either way I hope she has a better day.
Customer service: 4 out of 5--the employee handing me the food did not greet me and did not say anything at all.
Food: 3 out of 5-- the donuts and frozen beverage was great. On the other hand, when I ate my sausage, egg, and cheese croissant it tasted weird kind of like either undercooked on some part and or maybe the taste like bleached water may have come in contact with the inside of the sandwich. Not really sure.
Overall, I would recommend this place because it has a pretty decent menu and I've known this place to be pretty good since they opened years back. Came back into town and its maintained most progress on a positive note unlike most other businesses I've know of...
