Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Goose Creek

Jersey Mike's is ridiculous they have some time you have to beg for cucumbers or is it bell peppers whatever they had Haydn to the side they don't have enough nothing to put on your sub like subway I don't even know why they open they just don't give you enough stuff to put on your sub and one night this it was your closing and these people had an attitude working in there I'm sorry man we don't have no more brownies and it's too late to make you just like that rude that's the one on Rivers I think it is a Jersey Mike's up there by Raising Cane's I would never go to that place again ever never even believe that and I never go any to Subways anymore I just can't I just don't appeal to me anymore I don't get satisfied occasionally I go in when my oldest son goes and he has to tell you the truth he hasn't even desired Subway and so long people just got so tired of fast food in these restaurants I get more more where I want to cook it home again and that's the truth I go buy groceries and cook my own hamburger the way I like it or hot dogs are sandwiches or whatever the case maybe cuz these people out here they're not clean like they should be and they do a lot of things you sit there and watch it and you see it and you observe it and the most awful thing that grosses me out is to walk in a restaurant it's so nasty I mean nasty you could feel I went into a McDonald's in Florence about 3 months ago in April you can feel the nastiness the carpet look like it been down there 50-60 years so much spilt on the carpet never cleaned and a piece of it all tour like a animal chewed it all up or something you can feel the gross nasai feel like my skin was crawling I just just wanted to get out of there so fast it's pitiful all these restaurants have been in business for years and years and years please people clean the restaurants get the health department in there whatever it takes really get some cleaners to come in and blast your place get new carpet paint the damn pizza place do anything you can to freshen it up or get a new building remodel something it turns your stomach when you go in there and try to eat God I can imagine what the food is...

First I'd like to start by saying Jersey Mike's is normally the bomb!! However I think this particular location struggles. My family and I have tried this restaurant numerous times; all different days & times of days. The food is normally pretty good. But one thing I can say is this location always seem to have new or inexperienced employees. They are ALWAYS under staffed and the employees are normally not happy or unsure of what to be doing. With having minimal [less experienced] employees working it tends to get super backed up in there. Maybe it's just our luck when we go. But today it took us 27 minutes to get through the line to order & pay. The line continued to grow behind us, the phones and drive through started to get crazy. But there were only 3 people working. One employee was evening mumbling to another employee "See this is why people quit this place...". One thing I can say that saved this experience today was that one of the girls kept a smiling face the whole time and bared through it! She stayed super polite even though things were getting ridiculous! Kudos to her! Our sandwiches were also still very good. Which we were glad after waiting almost 30 mins to make very simple subs!!

• A SIDE NOTE* They did cut all different meats on the same cutter and used the SAME knife to cut ALL the sandwiches in half at the end. I personally do not like mayo or tomatoes. So I do not want my sandwich cut by the same knife as some stranger with toppings I do not like. I even asked her not to cut my sandwich at the end (while she was putting toppings on)... but she...

I went to this location twice in one week. I’m not going back again ..because a few of them have an attitude they act as though they wish you wouldn’t come …if you hate your job that much why go to work there….they don’t realize that their job is important, but I don’t have to beg them to put a smile on a face and to be kind. I’ll just go to another location… you have to watch them how they prepare your sandwich make sure that they change their gloves, cause they have a tendency to put their hand on other things like the garbage can of wet rag and then go prepare your sandwich and you gotta speak up whether they like it or not …I spent $30 plus tips both days. I just don’t like their attitude and I don’t have to put up with it…. UPDATE…. April 10 noon time I went to Jersey Mike’s today and the atmosphere was so different. The workers were very nice. They made sure that it was clean. The sub was delicious. .. they didn’t have an attitude that they didn’t wanna be there and they sorry to see you come in.
