Mr Bagel-Gorham — Restaurant in Gorham

If I could give zero stars, I would do so. Ordered to dine in. Waited over 30 mins. People around us were having their food brought to their respective tables the whole time. Eventually, I asked about our meals. I was told “we called out your name multiple times” to which I was then informed they were calling out the completely wrong name. No one around took responsibility. Lack of leadership. They need to get it together.

Reply (to owner): Photo attached confirming dine in. Part of your system or process is flawed. I would recommend accepting improvements can be made to the process instead of claiming I was in the wrong on this. I sat there facing your kitchen the entire time and never left my seat. Having an employee tell me 3 different times “we called ‘Kyle’ out multiple times” (along w/ mistaking it for a to-go order) made me ask for a refund and not want the food. They don't really close at noon. When they say they close at noon they mean they all go home at noon. They actually close about 30 minutes early every single day. I'm in the food business and when we say we are open until a certain time... Its because we are open for business. We don't start to close until we are closed... Crazy concept I know. What makes it more frustrating is they changed their hours recently so they close an hour earlier than before... Well an hour and a half earlier than before. I watched three different people pull up and attempt to get food... Prior to noon. We all talked about how this is absolutely horrible customer service. What you guys don't realize is, since this has happened to me four or five times now, I'm not ever going to even bother to waste my time trying to figure out if you're actually closed yet or still open because the store hours clearly mean nothing so why would I...

Staff 4/5: Smiling, even early in the morning, and even helped with a suggestion. Efficient. I appreciated the host asking me to wait 1 moment instead of multitasking.

Food 4/5: Above average Asiago Bagel. The cream cheese is a bit bland. The Sarah sandwhich... amazing! Bacon crumble and sprouts... so so so good.

Atmosphere 3/5: Small a bit cramped. You can see into the kitchen if the back door is open. Recycling containers full. Still solid small home town feel. Loved the new board.

Price 3/5: A tad better than reasonable. Solid price for a breakfast sandwhich that felt gourmet.

14/20 = 3.5 stars
