Gorham House of Pizza — Restaurant in Gorham

Longtime customer of GHOP and have known owner for years. Food always great when owner was actively in place of business overseeing. Family member is now taken over since father has retired. We have noticed that the quality of the food has noticeably been less palatable and lacks the great taste once experienced. On 7/13/23, we ordered a large pizza and French fry. The pizza and fries lacked the great quality of food prep as used to. A call was placed to GHOP but son was out of state so the employee put our name in the so called book for a free pizza and French fry. Honestly, we did not entertain the thought of another pizza or French fry because we both were ill from eating the fore mentioned food shortly after ingesting it. I wrote a letter to the son, who is general mgr.I received a voice mail from him after he returned from vacation. He stated that he would call me the first of the week being August 7th, 2023 as he stated he wanted to discuss the issue more. I never received a call back from the general mgr. as stated that he would call me. We had requested a refund back to our debit card for the July 13th, 2023 and we thought it was a fair and reasonable request to make and that was the least he could do. I am very disappointed in the way this was mishandled and knowing his father and what a great businessman he is would not have done this but would have handled the issue appropriately. We miss...

My boyfriend and I just happened to be passing by when we were starving and decided to stop in for a pizza and onion rings. That day changed my life forever!! I thought that I had great pizza at other places but Gorham House of Pizza has the BEST of any pizza place I've been to. From NY to Philadelphia to all of New England there's no better pizza than GHoP!! Everything about their pie is PERFECT! Now, the onion rings ... omg! I dream of them in my sleep! I think they may even be better than Moody's Diner! Just like their pies their onion rings are an absolute delight! I think they may be made fresh in their store b/c they're so darn good. Crispy, golden brown, and sweet. I can't get enough of them. We now go outta our way when we want pizza b/c NO other place will suffice. Besides, why settle for less when we can have the BEST!! The staff are friendly and attentive. They make placing an order simple and quick. Unlike quite a few other places where we dread calling.

I get hamburger and black olives on my half and lemme tell ya ... I dunno what they do but their burger is always tender and satisfying! My boyfriend gets onions and burger or onions and sausage. He's also a HUGE fan.

I absolutely recommend stopping in for the best pie and rings of your life!

Went out of my comfort zone to order a meatball sandwich. We’ve always enjoyed their pizza and their pastrami sandwich but I was hungry for something else. Hands down it was one of the best sandwiches. I thought i would save half for later but… that did not happen. The bread was fresh, not too much sauce and the meatballs were sliced to get more in the sandwich. Topped with cheese and wrapped up tight for the ride home. When I opened it up a true sense of gratitude overwhelmed me. My first instinct to use my knife and fork but I picked half of it up and started with the first bite. Needless to say I did not put it down until I was finished… both halves. Pushing back the plate I felt proud and accomplished that I had just feasted on a delicious meatball sandwich at Gorham...
