Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Goshen

I could have wrote this review so many other visits before now but I didn't but tonight was enough. First off I went inside to order since drive thru was long, I wasnt really in no hurry it but to stand waiting on my food myself and 3 other waiting customers see all this food setting in the window just getting cold the kid up front was to busy taking orders he didn't have time to bag and hand out food, there were so many different orders setting there getting cold they didn't even know what food went where. 2 of the waiting customers that ordered after me got there food then finally bag my food up simple 2 burgers and 2 frys my frys were cold before I even walked out the door but this place wouldnt know a hot fry if it hit them in the face and not to mention the so called boss guy on evening shift looks like he needs a shower change of shirt and maybe take the ball cap off and wear a hair net since working with food. Its sad because I had always thought dairy queen as one of the better fast food places but I have a different opinion now at least about the dairy queen on pike st goshen. normal things are great here but tonight my fries were in half pieces, underdone, and cold. my chicken was cold. my gravy was cold. my pop was wrong, not carbonated, luke warm and the ice was melted. (like it had been sitting there for a while) my blizzard was wrong, they had no vanilla ice cream, and it was melted. every container was dirty on the outside & sticky. the workers didn’t seem to know what they were doing, though they were nice and understanding with the issues. i understand the chaos because i work in food service, and one or two problems isn’t a huge deal because i get it, mistakes happen but not one thing was okay with my order. i don’t try to complain because i get the madness that comes with working in the industry, but even in chaos you have to make sure your serving decent quality. if i would’ve realized this, i would’ve asked nicely for a refund and gone...

Picked up some Blizzards for my parents and I. They had the Royal NY Cheesecake and Very Berry Chip they wanted. The first flavor I ordered was Caramel Fudge Cheesecake but since they said it will be out in the summer, I ordered Choco Brownie Extreme which was one of my favorites, and I have so many favorites at DQ that when my original choice isn't available I find another one I love just as much. I'm probably one of the easiest customers they have. I grew up going to DQ since I was very little and almost always had Blizzards and it's my favorite place to get ice cream.
