No pictures worth taking really! I ordered the ribs, which are usually good say a few years ago, at the old King Gyro down 33 in Elkhart by the old owners. These ribs of course are cooked ahead of time and they take them out the fridge and put them on the grill and basically warm them up “finish cooking them?” I don’t know how I feel about that because who knows exactly when the ribs were grilled on a grill... they could’ve been frozen and unthawed. You get my drift, I just think I’ll stick to my fathers ribs in the summertime. Also everything is an up charge. I’m dining in your restaurant, okay you put a drizzle of sauce on my rib tips, so that I have to ask “and pay” for extra sauce, so you get my drift again. I do honest reviews, that’s why I’m a high level viewer with over 100,000 views and going. People want honesty. I don’t care for restaurants that do this by up charging you for every little thing. For 1. You then charge $1.02 for barbecue sauce because ribs are supposed to be slizzarded with sauce, so you’re beating your customers, by not putting enough sauce on the ribs. 2. The French fries are cheap strings of over cooked potatoes, I highly doubt if anyone finds them tasty, so they’re cheap on purchasing good fries, is it because every meal comes with fries? So instead of giving the customer good fries, they instead go very cheap and to me that’s a turn down. 3. I have to say this was the first time I actually saw a leg of lamb for the Gyro meat, usually the meat is precut and in a container in the refrigerator and they heat it up on the grill prior to making an order. So I will give them a thump up on that being an improvement. I not only dine out, but I’m also glancing around these restaurants and looking at the cooks. So I’ve given my last and final run at this King Gyro and...
Read moreThis King Gyros has truly gone downhill. The first menu/sign in the drive-thru is fairly worthless with no prices, the second sign has prices they are not accurate and are not honored! They ask if the higher price is okay AFTER you have ordered so of course you have been sitting in the drive-thru line forever so what are you to do?!?!🤨 They have never taken good care of the building or the property but the food & service was really good so we would look past it. Now, the wait is still long, higher prices, less food, and they will not accommodate any adjustments to a meal …even when you offer to pay more. Everything has gone up in price but make me want to spend my hard earned dollar at your restaurant. My suggestion is if you can drive further up the road to the King Gyros up by the old Concord Mall, do it! Excellent food and great service with a smile. Reminds me of the King Gyros I grew up with in downtown Ft Wayne. They have been there for decades and the food and service is why we keep going back. And though that building is old it is clean and well kept inside and out. I trust it. **Think about it, if what you CAN see is dirty & not cared for on the outside, how bad is what you CANNOT...
Read moreNot a good experience. I had to repeat my order twice to a young woman. Then a man took over. I gave the same order to him. I wanted an Italian sausage sandwich and a baklava. He asked of I wanted sausage only or the trimmings? ! said with the trimmings. I then pulled up to pay giving the woman my credit card. She then asked if my order was for rib tips. I said that I had ordered an Italian sausages sandwich and a baklava. She seemed confused and a man came to the window asking me for my order. I repeated it to him. Then asking whether the order had been prepared. His reply that it hadn't been. I said cancel my order asking for my credit card. He returned it to me and I left. The next day I was checking my current credit card activity and I saw that I had been charged twice for an order that I...
