Disappointing. We read the Reviews and had personal references all were good.... complementary. However, NOT! Saturday, March 26, 2022: We started off initially, feeling a bit of bait and switch... a disparity w prices. While placing our order, we discovered the Menu Pricing are several dollors or more higher with each item! We checked a number of posted sources and menus, all prices considerably lower But Actual charge is much higher! Consumers Beware! We ordered: *SPRING ROLLS: tasted greasy the veggies were slushy, stringy, difficult to chew and swallow! Menu $1.30 Actual $2.85 *PORK FRIED RICE: Fair, lacked Flavor. Even the pork, although meaty was tasteless!!! ??? Menu: $6.95 Actual: $10.45 *SHRIMP IN LOBSTER SAUCE: Pleasant, meaty, generous Shrimp dish but not exciting. I will not order again! Menu: $9.95 Actual: $14.75 *MOO GOO PAN: Veggies were a soft, touch overcooked. Chicken pleasant and tender, again not exciting. Menu: $7.25 Actual: $11.25 *We also had an after dinner greasy feel/taste in our mouth, old oil! *Grand Total: Menu vs Actual: Menu $26.75 pre taxed Actual:$$42.35 pre taxed Difference of $15.60 Percent increase: 58.3 0/0 percent increase! We, felt cheated and disappointed w the food not at its best. Too bad we did the math after we placed our order and shopped when we were hungry! Suggest people continue to search for a better resturant and...
Read moreI'm not hard to please when it comes to cheap food, but this food was neither pleasing nor cheap.
The chicken fried rice was some of the worst I've ever had. The chicken was rubbery and COMPLETELY unseasoned (almost as if it had been boiled), and the rice was very bland. No flavor, no love, just plain bad.
The vegetable lo mein wasn't as insulting as the rice, but still pretty underwhelming and under seasoned. The side of white rice was pasty and clumped together from being old, probably left over from the lunch service earlier that day.
I get it, prices go up due to food cost. However, it's not acceptable for quality to go down if this is the case. My two dinner portions cost $30 in total, which would just barely be justified if the food was great.
As a longtime food service veteran I have a lot of love for small, family-owned restaurants. Still, I have no stomach for food that's as expensive as it...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. $90 for a few appetizers, two soups, and a main dish. Fried was horrible. Pork fried rice was bland, mushy, and tasteless. The dumplings were doughy and gooey, not to mention turn lacking flavor. The dipping sauce was filled with oil. Very heavy. The spare ribs were coated in thick honey and too much oil. The egg rolls were dense and flavorless. The sesame chicken was bland and extremely chewy. The worse Chinese meal I’ve had in my life. Save your money and go somewhere else. Their service isn’t that great either. They close from 2:30-4:30, so you can’t even place an order for pick up until they re-open. The decor and ambiance is mediocre and could really use an upgrade. I ate here years ago and it was mediocre, at best, the place could stand a good cleaning, too. I was told to give it another try. $90 wasted. ...
