Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Graham

Came here last night, through the drive thru. The woman taking my order was abrupt, interrupting and rushing me. I paid for my food. Was promptly given my order. I drove forward and checked my bag before leaving the parking lot, discovered that there was no marinara sauce given with the cheddar bites. Looped back around because there was no one in the drive thru and told the woman the sauce was left out. After looking at me with a look of mistrust and looking into the box to verify my honesty she closed the window without acknowledging the mistake. Proceeds to make her a cup of pop to drink and takes a sip, then walks to the counter and I see a person from the back hand her the marinara. She comes back to me opens the window, gives me the sauce, shuts the window then walks off. All without words spoken to me.

Now if my food would have been great or even edible I would have taken the negative interaction and lack of customer service with a grain of salt as I feel I came for the food and not smiles or personality. Unfortunately that was not the case. My wings were well cooked but we're not the sauce I requested. I ordered nuclear and these were the insane flavor. Not terrible but my 9 year old could not eat and that. So they were wasted. The fries and bread were both overcooked to the point of being hard and unpleasant. The worst was the chicken tenders which were disgusting. They were cooked thoroughly, but I'm not sure if was a case of them recooking tenders that had been out to make them seem fresh, or if the grease the store used to fry the food was beyond the date to change so the food cooked tastes scorched, dry, and disgusting. Could not eat the fries, bread, or tenders. I ate two of the wings before being overwhelmed with the chili powder flavor (personal choice and the reason I only get the nuclear) The positive would be the drink was good. Strawberry lemonade I paid for the large size and I paid for a bbq sauce which was not forgotten even if I didn't use it. Also this location still provides celery which I enjoy since the location near my home discontinued that long ago. The cheddar bites were a bit overcooked but edible so that could be a plus as well. We gave the Graham location one more chance and they blew it. We came in at about 7:45 tonight, a Friday night, and it was empty. We ordered three meals, for two adults and a child, with an order of fried mushrooms. Came to just shy of $30. Went to get our drinks and the drink machine was out of EVERYTHING. We notify the woman cleaning tables that had just taken our order and first she made excuses, it does that some times or messes up, but no solution was offered, so he just kind of looked at her, so then she said she'll let the manager know, but that was it. So my husband had to go back up to the counter and ask them to fill his cup from the machine they have for the drive through. We get our food and with his sandwich, they had given my husband a ridiculously small amount of fries. On my tenders plate I had a decent amount so he took it up for comparison and asked for a top up on his fries, and they refused, said that's how many fries he is supposed to get. I counted maybe 10 fries. My meal cost more simply because I got 6 tenders, and my fries were extra bountiful because I subbed out a side for more fries, but he still had a pitiful amount of fries and should have had more than they gave him, for nearly $7, and it surprised me that they wouldn't make it right. He didn't even have half what I had, and should have had at least that. On top of that the order of mushrooms was pitiful as well. We could have got much better value and service, and food somewhere else for that amount of money. Had Sutton's been open past 7pm, we would have been in business and would have gone there in a heartbeat instead. I offered him my extra fries, but he was too annoyed to eat them. The place wasn't clean either, she had just gone through and "cleaned" tables but there was food in the seats. We won't be going back. Maybe the Mebane or btown zaxbys is doing a better job, but whoever the manager is at the Graham location, they are not...

I went on feb 11th and they had their buy one get one free deal for a boneless wings meal. I know that it was only at participating locations but as my mom previously got hers I knew they were offering the deal. I get there at 8:20 and wait in the drive through and wait about 5 minutes before driving off. As I drove off a girl came over the speaker but I was already committed to going inside at this point. I go in, wait in line for over 10 minutes as other customers are helped. They complain about cold fries and no celery and get their help they need them I’m told by the girl at the register that they stopped the bogo deal at 8:30. It’s 8:35 when she told me this and mind you I’d been standing there for 10 mins and she had seen me. The deal did not have a time posted either but she was rude and insisted her manager just told her to stop accepting the offers per corporate. I had been waiting long enough to see if the manager had just walked up to her and no one did. Also I called to ask corporate and they didn’t give me any answers. Told me they would call back the next day and never did. I honestly never want to go back to any of them in my area because they are all owned and operated by the same person and if that’s how they do business I can take mine elsewhere.
