Came here to get my kids some food after church on a wed night. The girl in drive thru told me to wait a minute. As we're waiting there was a man behind us yelling "HELP" to the point where my kids really thought that he was in need of help. After about 5min of waiting the guy yelled "What the "f" is taking you so long and sped off to Popeye's. Whatever! Then the girl rudely responded to me that I NEED TO WAIT and that I dont need to yell! I asked her not to be rude to use when we weren't the ones being rude. She made another rude comment to us so I asked to speak with her manager at the window. She said that he was to busy for all that and that if I'd want to speak with him I'd have to come in. So I pulled out of line and went inside to speak with him. I went in and I asked to speak with the manager and the girl went back to let him know that this "white b" was out here wanting to speak with him. The customer service! I explained to him everything that happened and the whole time staff members were trying to justify why she treated my family this way. Where is the customer service!. He told me that he was just the shift manager and that the store manager Misty would be there tomorrow. Well I came back the next day and she was off that day. So I left my name and number for her to call me and it's been over a week and nothing. Who ever owns this company needs new management and staff retrained. Teach how to defuse a situation and not provoke people to anger. A man that witnessed the incident came in and offered to pay for my meal when he saw the manager on duty about to charge me after everything that happened in and out of the store. Would like a reach out from...
Read moreUnfortunately this Bo's is not living up to the franchise standards anymore. For starters, 3/3 times recently my order was wrong, even after clarifying twice. Nothing complicated either - sandwich meals with fries and Pepsi's. Also, every time I've been there over the last few months, the service was exceptionally slow, and unprofessional. They literally take an order, make it and send it out before taking another new order. So, if you're the third car in line expect to wait at least 20 minutes just to put your order in. One time, the line literally didn't move for about 30 minutes. Most of the people, including myself, left, and went elsewhere.
To top it off, I have typically been getting sandwiches that are old, dry, and overcooked to the point of actually hurting my teeth biting into it at times. Unfortunately, I am typically getting Bo's when on the road, so I have to just pick things apart and eat what is salvageable. That's unacceptable especially considering they are only making one order at a time. I must be getting chicken that had sat well past the heat lamp time and was refried in an attempt to freshen it up and reheat. I keep trying to give them a chance but I'm officially done with this establishment, and will travel elsewhere to a respectable Bo's with professional employees and fresh food next time. They clearly need more employees, and to invest in training, in addition to managers and supervisors to be present and set a...
Read moreThe Mebane Bojangles is closer but we prefer to drive the short distance to Haw River for this Bojangles as all are certainly not created equal. The service at this location is fast and friendly. The food was hot and tasted good. The chicken was fried up as one would expect good fried chicken to be. The only issue, which wasn't particularly pressing enough to warrant immediate action, would have been the mashed potatoes. The consistancy of said potatoes was very thick and a bit on the dry side. The gravy that came with the potatoes was about in the same condition and had become a bit too congealed for my liking. Overall the food was tastey. We fed a family of 5 for just over $22 with the 8 piece tailgate special. A very good value for any family looking to get out, have a satisfying meal while not spending a whole lot. The dining area was nice and clean. The self serve condiment and drink areas were clean and well attended to. The kitchen looked to be kept clean as well. The employees were clean cut and well groomed and seemed to be focused on the tasks at hand. They didn't appear to be disorganized in their actions. Those behind the counter did not come off as extra friendly in the way one might expect from a place like Chick-fil-A. They were not rude at all, just slightly monotone in their interactions with customers. To sum up, this is a good place overall for fried chicken. I highly recommend this location for those looking to...
