China House — Restaurant in Grand Blanc Charter Township

I usually take great pride when I review businesses because there is usually something complimentary to share; this is the complete opposite!. We have NEVER had a worse meal-EVER!!! In addition to the uneatable food, we called our order in 60 minutes prior to pick up-NOTE: we also paid at time of order. We arrived at the exact time we were told only to wait ANOTHER 50 minutes! It was obvious they never started our order until we arrived. UNACCEPTABLE!! Now, being optimistic people, we did NOT say anything about the wait as these are different times for all of us and sincerely appreciate all businesses and personnel who have helped to feed us lately. However, we wish we had been more sceptical because this was an order for 6 adults and we, like many of you, had not seen our family for over 3 months. After spending 110 minutes for the order, and for spending close to $100.00 we could have gone through our vegetable crisper, BOILED the SPOILED vegetables in a clear broth WITHOUT ANY spices...I'm NOT exaggerating....HORRIBLE!! We've tried to be as kind as possible in this review because we ALL have a bad day. But, tough to note anything positive, so you might want to steer clear of this place!!! We know this was a large order but had we been closer we would have returned the order and insisted on a refund!!! WHAT A TERRIBLE WASTE OF TIME...

I have ordered from this restaurant several times, sometimes it is fresh other times it taste like it's old. I have found that if I walk in in place my order for certain dishes it always tastes better than if I call-in and pick it up. I order sesame chicken most the time and typically the chicken taste rubbery from being reheated and seasoned and not made from fresh. I have never been disappointed with their egg rolls or their fried rice. However one day I did find a hair in my food. I call them and made a complaint and they said I had to bring the entire meal back in order to receive a refund. I live 15 minutes from this restaurant, I threw my food in the trash when I have yet to be back-to this restaurant to eat. .The inside of the restaurant only has a few boost. And if you pay close attention looks very dirty from the sitting area. They could spend a little time freshening up in cleaning the waiting area and concentrate on a better-quality of food. People today need to demand better services and products for the hard earn...

This only has 2 stars because the rice was good. But the main problem is I think I got a weird stomach issue from this food. We got a lunch order from here on Saturday the 26th. Almond chicken is what I had. 1 breast was okay but the second one I could barely bite into (that seems to be a common theme with Chinese restaurants for some reason). The gravy was okay, but way too salty and felt too heavy with a chicken flavoring. I did not enjoy it. The rice was good. But now it’s been three days after having it and I’ve thrown up the next day and haven’t been able to leave the bathroom today. My stomach has been in pain and I feel not myself at all.
