Listening skills are key. And this is an update to my review from 3 years ago. We ordered the Walleye dinner and ended up getting cod? How is that even close to the same thing? We've already had the walleye before, which is absolutely delicious. 3rd update. Referring back to the listening skills. Went back a couple weeks later and ordered the walleye dinner yet again because it was actually good. They literally brought out cod again!!! I didn't complain the first time it happend but I definitely complained the second time. We even said walleye 10 times loud and clear to make sure our order didn't get messed up. They were nice about it and brought out the right order and gave us a free pint of ice cream after I mentioned this was the second time our order was messed up.
Old review: Everytime you order, for example, a mushroom and Swiss burger, were always asked "so just mushroom and Swiss is OK on that?" Why they ask these questions is beyond me, since that's what I ordered. They aren't very good listeners at all. When you say you want it in a basket they still ask you EVERY time if you want it in a basket. Just a few days ago after eating our very overly cooked burgers my significant other ordered a concrete mixer to go. It took 20 minutes to get it. Only because the people making them where filling a bunch up and putting them in some cooler in their counter and they put his in there as well. It had been ready to go 15 minutes prior to the 30 minute wait. He had to say something to one of the people behind the counter and she went looking for it. They already apparently served his number when his number was still in his hand. They definitely need...
Read moreLeft us hanging for over 30 minutes when we ordered curbside, for two value baskets worth of food. We watched 15-20 cars in the drive through receive their order before us when we checked in first. When we called, they couldn't find our order and we had to sit on hold and wait for them to find it, just to be told it's STILL going to be "a while" for our food and when we asked if we could have a time frame they said no. I went in to talk to ge manager after it had been 30 minutes, and he came out, guilt tripped me my telling me I "took him off his grill and slowed service", and ostracized me in the middle of the restaurant, yelling at me for using a cuss word quietly while trying to explain that I was suffering from dangerously low blood sugar effects BECAUSE of waiting 30 minutes for my food. The workers under this male manager are very apologetic and nice, but the manager needs to be reprimanded immediately.
They also didn't even have cheese curds, at a place that advertised their cheese curds, and didn't give me enough straws for my shake and drinks. We will never be returning to...
Read moreThis place is one of the best in town in my opinion. In some cases they might be a bit higher in cost vs other places but it's worth it! Their cheese curds are great, the butter burgers are amazing (though can get a bit greasy) and they have some of the best chili cheese fries. Everything I had ordered from there is always so mouth watering and tasty I can never get enough. The service is nice and always with a smile. The waterfall in the building is a nice touch (don't know if they all have one) and there's an outdoor eating area (I think its surrounded by a fence). If your going through the drive through then be warned, there's almost always a line and a wait because of it but definitely worth it! I highly suggest going there. If you've never had Culver's "DROP WHAT YOUR DOING (unless your working or doing something equally important) AND GO THERE NOW TO GET A BUTTER BURGER (unless you like fish or chicken, that's good too) BECAUSE YOUR REALLY MISSING OUT,...GOOD GRIEF...
