Decent, not great, not horrible.
The soup was very sour in comparison which may be pleasurable to others but not me. The sauces to grill with had a slight sour taste, which was delicious to begin with but got gradually worse the more I had. The vegetables weren't cooked very well and the wait time felt fairly long.
Despite this I would say that the food was good to begin with and was enjoyable. They came out with complimentary soup and rice for your meals, and ask what drink you would like for your meal.
For those who haven't been here there are 3 sizes, small, medium, and large. For 3 mediums a small, and 2 drinks we payed around $42. That amount is decently priced at around $10 per person, but for the quality and size I don't think it was worth it.
The staff weren't the best as they seemed down or uninterested, but they gave a vibe if respect at the same time, and did their jobs without question.
As for extra details: I went on a Wednesday around 6pm and there was only about 2 or 3 families there, all of the food options were stocked, and extra items came out before I came to sit down with my freshly cooked meal.
End thoughts. This place has promise. If they adopt a sweeter more unique taste, and carry around a happier face, then this would be a place that I would come back to. As it is right now I don't see myself coming back. If you haven't been to one before this place gives you about half of the experience, and I would recommend going to a more lively one. That being said to not travel over 60 miles to go to the one in Lincoln, this was a fairly good one, but in comparison, It lacks what if count to be...
Read moreI love Mongolian grills. I really like how you can take the food you want them to cook for you. The food is always good. However, they always watch you like a hawk when you are putting your food in your bowl. They are not very friendly at all. almost act sometimes like you are an inconvenience when you come in. I don't know if it is their culture or what but I do not feel welcome usually when I am there. They almost often forget to give you your rice and soup and when you ask for it they act like it is a big inconvenience. With all that being said, though, they do a good job grilling your food and adding oil and sauce to it while it is cooking to be sure it is not dry like some other Mongolian grills in...
Read moreProbably my favorite GI restaurant since moving here. Loads of fresh veggies makes it awesome for going vegetarian and still having an absolute flavor bomb of a dish. The variety of meats, vegetables, and flavored broths means that you can have a different dish every visit yet still have exactly what you like. Watching your food being cooked on the round grill is fun for everyone young or old. And the soup served with every meal is so delicious that I would keep going back just for it alone. The staff is friendly, prompt and helpful. I really cannot say enough positive about...
