We try to stop in at least once a month if not more! We have always loved the fresh wings and the atmosphere. We stopped in last night (3/22/2023) and we were a little disappointed by the cleanliness of the place. The food was ok but the floors and bathrooms/walls were very dirty. Our waitress was amazing and again the food was good but we were distracted. I know they just are having a hard time I’m sure like everyone else so it is no fault. I look forward to going back to see how they can improve. Updated:4/18/23 Ok so we went back to give it another shot and was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms, floors and hall ways. I k ow many people don’t think about the bathrooms as a part of the review but that’s where we go as customers to wash our hands and if the bathroom is dirty how clean is the rest of the place, how is the expectation of staff to wash their hand before they prepare food or touch your items. Just a thought! I love the staff and o love this place it is just a shame that it is falling off the clean side.

We were in Grand Junction for night and we were craving for chicken wings. We searched nearby and by seeing good reviews we decided to have food at Roosters. Roosters is an amazing chicken wings restaurant with chicken wings having different sauce options, We were greeted by our server and seated on the table. She bought water plus menus for us. After exploring the menu I decided to order for drinks Dirty Hippie Beer and for dinner we ordered Chicken Wings with two different flavors and Chicken Salad. The server first bought beer for us. The beer was good and it was local beer. The wings were delicious and we loved the wing. They were perfect with correct amount of spice. The Chicken Salad was delicious with fresh ingredients. Amazing restaurant to try for beer and chicken wings. We loved it.

Apparently there is a new addition of a "To Go fee" on all orders including bottles of sauce. I understand that business has changed and not everyone tips on to go orders, but let's be honest here. 18% is excessive, and not properly being advertised. It's not listed on your website for online orders. When I called in an order, it was also not disclosed. On top of that, if that's supposed to be a tip, there shouldn't be an additional line on the receipt for tips. Additionally. Your own website has different pricing. (See pictures) Your menu shows at least $1 cheaper than the online/call in orders, and the option for "saucy" wings went from $0.50 to $2. If you're going to charge a fee, it needs to be disclosed properly. Or is the intent to have people paying 30%+ in tips on to go orders?

This was our first time visiting Grand Junction so we wanted to eat some where local and not a chain restaurant. My hubby was in the mood for wings and we found fly'n roosters. We were excited and quickly let down. As we walked in tables were dirty everywhere. Big sign that said "seat yourself " but not a clean table in sight. A server pointed us in the direction of a table that didn't have dirty dishes on it and just needed wipes down and assured us she would be there shortly. Sat down, menus so I grabbed one from the bar. Watched as other tables were cleaned they were quickly sat in and immediately served menus. I was a server for 5+ years and recognize how things should work. I watched as 6 tables that sat down after us were given menus and orders taken. We asked a blonde with long hair and another server that was pregnant for menus. The blonde blew us off and the pregnant gal rolled her eyes so loud you could hear and then we saw she had a cleaning towel in her hands and asked if she would wipe off our sticky table she acted like we were seriously imposing on her precious time wiped the table spot in front of my hubby and not a spot more. After watching for a few more minutes as the blonde and the pregnant gal serve new customers and NEVER returning to us we decided to leave. However I was determined so I found a gal behind the bar and asked if she was the manager. She said she was and I proceeded to tell her our experience. She didn't actually apologize just said she would serve us. I could tell she busy with the bar and helping us so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I'm glad we ended up staying the food was really good but not worth the treatment or service we received. I thought she would at least comp half our meal from all our troubles. That's what our managers would always do for the slightest problem. I told her of the issue hoping she would talk to the servers but I'm sure she didn't. We still tipped 20% even though it hurt to do so because after all how do you not tip the manager! I can guarantee we won't be back. The sad part is we tip really well when given great service where I have served before I notice everything including how busy and how many tables a server has and base it on how competent they are doing their job not based on my ticket price. Bottom line....good food but...

My husband and I decided to try this place out yesterday with friends and it’s safe to say we won’t be back. I was hoping for more but when we got there I didn’t know if someone was supposed to seat us or not until I saw a sign that said to seat ourselves, I thought to myself how will the waitress know we’re here? We ended up sitting on the patio outside and it was 25 minutes before the waitress came by to bring us our menus and take our drink order, whatever I’ve had to wait before but then she came back to take our order and we waited an hour before our food got out to us, (maybe they were busy) but I ordered the garlic Parmesan sauce with chicken tenders and I could only eat 1 chicken tender unfortunately, the breading was falling off my chicken tender because it was soggy and the sauce was weirdly sweet, I kind of wonder if I got the wrong sauce and then the Parmesan cheese was the kind that comes in a plastic shaker that you put ontop of spaghetti if you like that kind of thing, the whole thing was just weirdly sweet, crumbly from the cheese and soggy breading, the waitress didn’t come back for quite a while and our friends were only able to eat 4 pieces of their 20 piece chicken wings because they said theirs weren’t good either, my husband said he liked his burger and I did enjoy the fries but everything else I was sad because it was just not good at all. After all that it felt like we waited forever for the waitress to give us our check and then again for her to bring the card back and after all was said and done we had spend almost 2 hours there, we had arrived at 1:13 pm and was not able to leave until 2:53 pm, I find that quite ridiculous, bad food, bad service and a waste of almost 2 hours PLUS me and my husbands friend did not feel very good afterwards and we ended up with diarrhea. I definitely...

I have going to this restaurant for a very long time and have always enjoyed the food but the service has continued to go down hill, and tonight might have been the worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant. I tried calling in my order twice both times I was left on hold for 10 minutes then I was hung up on, so I thought no big deal maybe they are busy I'll stop in on my way home and order, when I get there they have maybe 4 tables and the only server to be found and she is talking to her friends. I go up to the place over here sign then proceed to stand there for over 10 minutes before anyone even say hello to me and by this time 3 servers and the bar tender has walk past me multiple times once I finally place my order she ask me to pay the bill witch I did but she never took my name or phone number. The food came up fairly quickly but when I went up to check on it she didn't know what order was mine and gave me attitude when I told she didn't ask me for any of my information, I finally got my food and went home, once I got home and had a chance to look at the food I realized it wasn't what I oder, so I called them and asked to speak to a manager and the gal on the phone ask me what it was regarding I told her I had a complaint that I didn't get the food that I had paid for she said the manger couldn't speak right now and that I was to call them back, I said ok what time should I do that and she told me after 8pm witch is after they close!! need less to say I will never be retuning here after horrible service, wrong food and an extreme lack of care of...
