I'll start with the good. It's beautiful inside.

Planning: We reserved 2 days in September and when all the details were settled and came time for the contract it came with two days... a month apart. We actually read the contract and caught it and asked them to correct it but oddly a large event had completely filled our space on day two so we were offered a small side room for that day. We declined and had to seek another venue with little time to spare.

Power: We were told when planning that there was plenty of power.. they didn't mention it was $25 per outlet recepticle.

Food: No outside food, drinks, or snacks... no problem, we ordered their cheese tray and fruit tray. When the cheese tray disappeared after an hour we asked where it went because we would take the leftovers and they explained it was an insurance liability... hmm, I've been in insurance 24 years... who knew?

Look the planning staff was great... the sales manager not so much.

One thing to note on the facility... bring your own registration table covers... we were 0 for 2 on theirs.

Overall our event turned out great but CMU comes in at about 50% less expense and...

Too crowded, fire hazard. Not enough bathrooms. The line to the bathroom went the length of the building. Can't bring in food or beverage, they charge $3.00 for a bottle of water. Attended the DR Leafs conference on how to change the way you think. It was a 4 hour infamurcial. If you want to learn the steps, buy her book. She told you what was possible, but have to buy her books to get the steps. What a waste of my time. Others around be were not happy as well. I will not go to her events again, it's just a commercial to buy her products and during the event she helps you sign up on her YouTube page. The fire hazard was a big...

It was a nice venue.. More room than the Mesa theater for sure. Definitely ridiculous how they closed the drinks down way before the concert was over... (Tech N9ne & Hollywood Undead 2023) but was a hell of a performance. Would also be nice to have a smoke friendly place in Grand junction for concerts. It's 2023 everyone either smokes vapes, cigarettes or marijuana. I understand this might not be the place for that but maybe someone with money and ideas might see this one day... I think it's a large percentage that would enjoy not having to spend 30-45 minutes standing in line just to have a quick smoke. This is coming from a non-smoker...

I love the Remodel on the convention center, it is very roomy for large gathering, it was sad because they were so short staffed the food was over cooked but the server was so sweet, I am very disappointed that being gluten free they had no dessert, not even an attempt to provide one, and we paid $500.00 for tickets

Great venue for small to mid size conferences. Staff is friendly and easy to work with. Location is perfect, just at the west end of Main Street. Plenty of hotels, bars, and restaurants to choose from with walking distance.
