VIP Tacos — Restaurant in Grand Junction

I only did a to-go order. It was a nice sunny day, so it felt nice to sit outside and wait. Maybe some umbrellas would be nice, but I can understand if it’s too windy to do so since it’s in the Valley. The server was also friendly, but would recommend stepping back a bit so they can see you through the window.

The wait wasn’t too long to get my food. I ordered a quesadilla de cabeza (cheek meat). I’d say maybe about 10 minutes or less. The price was $8.68 (plus a 15% so a total of $9.99). For the price and the size of the quesadilla, I’d say it was good. It’s two whole flour tortillas, meat, and cheese with an option of sour cream and tomatoes on top. Then a side of either hot, mild, or both of freshly-made hot sauces. The sour cream and tomatoes might’ve been too much for me, but I figured I wanted to try it anyways.

This is definitely a dinner type meal to eat at home rather than bring to work. It’s certainly heavy, but delicious. I’d definitely go again.

Edit: FYI to anyone interested- they are no longer located in Fruita by Wave, but now are by the location on North Ave. I’ve tried some other things from them like tacos and tortas....

So I'll start by saying it's greater in taste then los Alberto s... tho YOU Have To Check Your Foods Unless the Man guy the head of the company is working.. I mean I ONLY Get the Same thing EVERY SINGLE TIME. and yet more than HALF THE Time I don't get What I Order... I Am always haveing to call them to Talk with the main Guy to Get my Order CORRECT... ITS Sill too me that I tell them What I want everytime and It NEVER Changes.. and Yet someone there Really Likes to F.uk with Me be giving me Not what I Order.. and then they try and make it your issue.. I Just Want The Food You Sell amd I ASKED For.. Crazy.. but Other than What ever that is. HAHAHAH. It's A Great place . Great flavor and at least one them lady's is So Kind. Just like the Main Owner.. but like he can't watch over them all All the time. 😅 good Luck with your business and make sure Whom ever Is ACTING Like The Boss to Blow off Customers should...

Not sure if they do this to anyone else and get away with it but they tried to literally steal money by randomly making up the price. I tried to order 2 breakfast burritos and they’re bored said it was $6.50 then the lady said they were nine dollars and I said that’s not what the board says then the man was like okay we do that, the lady doesn’t say anything and turns around the screen for my total and it says $19.73 I ask why it’s that price she doesn’t say anything turns it around changes something turns it back around and it says it’s $17. and something cents, I pay for that and ask why it was still so much I looked at the receipt and the receipt said it was only a dollar something cents for tax so then I say again why it was this price she calls over another worker and he refunds me, and put the actual price witch was $14. And something cents. Just to make it make sense, $6.50 + $6.50...
