Above and beyond!!!

First of all after stopping in real quick one day and ordering a raspberry ice tea on a whim they started a new addiction. Their raspberry iced tea is amazing!!!!

This team went above and beyond for me and my husband. The first time we stopped in I saw a hoodie that caught my attention but we were in a rush so I didn’t get it. The 2nd time we went I made sure to grab it and it quickly became my favorite hoodie. Well over the weekend some diesel additive spilled on it and no matter what I tried I could not get it out of my new favorite hoodie. My hubby ran back by to get a replacement but they didn’t have the size in stock (I like my hoodies oversized). The two ladies working began looking to see if they could find one in the size I wanted but unfortunately couldn’t. I told my husband another color was just fine and not a big deal.

Well low and behold he got back to our fifth wheel and had the color I originally got in the size I wanted. These two ladies were determined to look through their stock (which was in another building) and found the last one in that size. They did not have to go to that much trouble but they went above and beyond! The extra care they put into the situation was so touching and so impressive! I chose The Wake Coffee Shop as they have a healthy breakfast option, "The Crunchy Power Bowl". The bowl has ancient grains, savory kale, sweet dates, nuts, and chickpeas topped off with a savory curry sauce.

The overall dish was good; however, the chickpeas were cold and tasted like they came straight from the can. Would have tasted better if they were warmed up a bit.

Additionally, all the good stuff was at the bottom of the dish under the kale. The dish would be better if the chickpeas and all the good stuff were on top of the kale, or at least toss it all together like a tossed/chopped salad.

The young woman from Transylvania was very pleasant; however, the other worker today seemed a bit unfriendly; perhaps she was having a bad day.

The breakfast burritos are pre-made so do not expect fresh, nor can you omit any items like peppers if you do not want to have them in your burrito.

There are better options for a more robust and complete breakfast in town if that is...

Incredible Service, Even Right Before Closing!

I had such an amazing experience! We arrived just as they were about to close, and they were already cleaning the coffee machine. Despite this, they kindly served us and prepared three coffees for us without hesitation. The staff was incredibly friendly, and you could tell they care about their customers.
