There was about 30-35 people on a Monday lunchtime buffet 1pm 1/20/25
And this is the third time coming to this specific location . We use to go to the colony and they had GREAT service always cleaning after two plates were stacked tables were immediately cleaned after guest left but here NOT THE CASE!
Seems like they need to hire 2 more people. So many others were complaining about the wait time for pizza to come out and the girl working the front was only taking one pizza at a time for a group of 30 people . Not sure how many others were working the back but I only saw her and one guy. NO PLATES the salad bar or pizza bar and were completely running out . The only way she would move and restock if people would ask her to.
People kept REUSING their dirty plates because they eventually gave up on waiting for plates to be restocked.
Restocking eggs in the salad bar she said would be “5min” it was more like 15 min for her. Customers purchasing the buffet had to wait for pizza to come out it was the most awkward thing watching them wait for plates and pizza to be stocked.
The only pizza that was hardly touched was the a dessert and the cheese sticks.
The service was disappointing. Even the people that ordered takeout to go were waiting for their pizza 15-20 min. One of the guys waiting was here so long he started playing the games and gave my kid a ball to play with after him winning 5 prizes . That’s how long he was there waiting for his one pizza to come out.
Now I’m not sure who dropped the ball on putting one pizza at a time or if they were just super busy with takeout orders that resulted in 1 buffet pizza at a time or what but I understand it was probably not the girl working the front desk because she kept going back to the kitchen to slice pizza or try to restock. But having her wear so many hats when she should really just be focused on one area is not feasibly she shouldn’t have to be at the register, taking orders on the phone, re stocking salad, slicing pizza AND cleaning up after customers leaving. That’s just too much during lunch hour for 1 person.

Read moreI was really excited to try this place. I’d heard good things about the chain but I was so disappointed with how the food tasted.
Me, my wife, and two kids ordered a large half cheese, half pepperoni pizza with 6 buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks and 2 drinks. Total came to a little over $50.
First, The wings and mozzarella sticks didn’t have a lot of flavor. Same goes for the ranch and marinara sauce. The marinara sauce was more like a paste than sauce. Not very good.
Second, the mozzarella sticks and the wings looked nothing like the pictures. The wings were supposed to be saucy as seen on the pictures but showed up dry.
Third, for the price of the pizza, I was expecting it to be packed with flavor. I was so wrong. Nothing really tasted fresh and I mean the ingredients. Everything was hot and fresh out the oven but I felt like the cheese came from a shredded cheese bag and the sauce from a can. The best part was the cup pepperonis but those are good just by themselves.
I hate to bring bad reviews to places that just opened but for those prices I expected the food to just be better. It isn’t the worst pizza place but I won’t be going back unless they adjust pricing or get...
Read moreI was interested in trying the newest pizza spot near me so decided to go for lunch on a Saturday. The staff are very nice and attentive, atmosphere is nice and clean, but the food was not very good and pretty expensive. We got mozzarella sticks and a pepperoni pizza on the regular crust. Mozzarella sticks were fine, your standard frozen mozzarella stick quality. The pizza looked great on top. Lots of crisp cupped pepperoni. Once I lifted a slice I discovered a pool of pepperoni grease underneath that made the crust greasy and soggy. I had to put napkins on the plate to soak some up, then dab the top so I could eat it. The pepperonis were indeed plentiful and ultimately too much for me. All I tasted was pepperoni, not cheese or sauce. There is such a thing as too much. The crust that wasn't soaking in grease was almost entirely flavorless. Overall, the meal stuck with me and I felt unpleasantly full most of the afternoon.
I think Mountain Mike's has a 'lots of toppings' gimmick that sounds better than the reality. Perhaps the buffet is the better value and offers a chance to sample more flavors so you can find one that is good.
For me, I...
