Sweet Saigon | Grand Prairie — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

First time trying this place and we ordered from their coffee menu. The inside is nicely decorated and bright, similar to Vita Cane prior. They have a large menu full of a variety of items and street food as well. I like their stubby cups. Right now they are only open during Fridays and the weekends while they are still undergoing their soft opening.

5/5- Vietnamese coffee with coffee jelly added. The coffee is thick as if they blend it. It's very strong "just like vietnam". But it's mixed well to the point where the darkness isn't super overpowering.

5/5- Coconut milk coffee. Doesn't have that dark, strong, robusta taste from vietnamese coffee, tastes like coffee plus coconut milk. Good balance. It's a little thick as if the coffee is blended.

I asked what is inside the Saigon coffee so I can tell what the difference is between the Vietnamese coffee and the Saigon coffee and they said that the Saigon coffee has whole milk in it.

I never write reviews, but I think this place is top notch! Everything I have tried so far has been high quality and delicious. Most recently we ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee and the Saigon coffee. When I tell you my husband (who is very hard to please) loved the Vietnamese coffee and would randomly just say how good it was, I knew I had picked the right place. Super happy we found this place. The staff was super friendly and everything was super clean! It was also nice to know they had different stuff for little ones, I was able to get my little one coconut jelly/jello which he loved! Fresh squeezed sugar cane?! I had no idea this was a thing. Definitely amazing, especially when added to a bit of mango. Particularly awesome on this warm and muggy day.

The owner and his family are all wonderful. He was very friendly and helpful, took the time to explain a lot of what they have to offer. The place is super clean. Definitely will be back. Come check them out, and bring a friend. You are in for a treat on...
