I hate to dog this place but I just had one of the worst food service experiences I have ever had. Don't get me wrong, the food is great, and usually the customer service is great...but the lady who works Friday nights is a witch. I'm not saying this to be mean, but she got an attitude with me after I waited there for 40 minutes after ordering and paying for asking if the tortillas were flour or corn. She said "NOW YOU TELL ME?!" I waited 40 minutes because she had customers and was that busy and I only thought to because a different lady asked the same thing right before I got the chance to ask her. It just so happened my food came out when I finally got the chance to ask her. She then proceeded to get an attitude with me while she filled the stupid drink dispenser closest to me saying "Can you move? Can you move? Can you move? Can you move?" like a little child in the back seat asking if we're there yet. So yeah, that pissed me off and I was like "PERDONAME! PERDONAME! PERDONAME! PERDONAME!". She then said I'm giving you your money back and canceled my order. "I don't like you kind of people" was her exact words.
Basically, she's mental and needs to stop doing what she's doing because if she thinks that is going to get her restaurant the reviews it deserves, well, let me put it this way...this restaurant doesn't deserve to have her working there. So hopefully the guys who usually work up front will be there next time I go. I'd give it 4...
Read moreI only come for the juevos rancheros even though the price is astronomical for what you receive (in San Antonio a juevosbrancheros plate from any restaurant is $6-7, and I mean from real restaurants that are not attached to a rundown gas station, whereas this location charges $13).They have reduced the amount of food they put on the plate (the food is packaged on a Styrofoam plate and covered in cling wrap). Also, today the meat they put on my juevos rancheros plate was about 1 inch wide, 3 inches long, and very flat, like 1-2 cm. That's wild. It was gone in one bite.
The location in Cedar Hill is marginally better as their juevos rancheros costs $1 less at $12, they give more meat, and the meat is already cut up into tiny pieces. They're also a real standalone restaurant and their food is plated in a traditional styrofoam clamshell. I also like that they give potatoes with the juevos rancheros instead of the rice they give at the gas station location. That is the way I'm used to receiving juevos rancheros from restaurants in San Antonio and El Paso.
Do yourself a favor and eat at the other location. It will be cheaper and the food is name with...
Read moreThe service here seems very prejudice against African Americans . I ordered a #3 and a #8 over the phone for pick up. When I got to the restaurant, the cashier relayed to me that my total was 23.83. I felt that this was a bit much so after talking back and forth we realized that the they added an extra #8 to my order over the phone. This is a common mistake within the food industry so I thought to myself no big deal. Usually when something likes this happens, the restaurant will take the loss and only charge the customer for what they actually ordered. Today I did not experience that. The cashier refused to serve me the food I ordered unless I payed for the extra meal. I walked out. And I will NEVER...
