Food Review: A Disappointing Visit to Popeyes on September 4, 2025 I truly didn’t want to write this, but the experience I had needs to be documented for future customers and management alike. I visited this Popeyes location around 7:45–8:00 PM on September 4th, 2025. From the moment I arrived in the drive-thru, the service was noticeably off. The employee initially told me they were ready to take my order but seemed distracted and more focused on joking around with coworkers than actually helping customers. I spent nearly 15 minutes attempting to place a simple order, only to be told afterward that the card machine was down and I’d need to come inside to pay. Once inside, I was told that they had lost my order entirely, and I had to start over from scratch. I tried again—this time requesting 32 wings: all but 6 to be Ghost Pepper, with the remaining 6 as Lemon Pepper. Even this straightforward request was met with confusion and delay from the staff. Eventually, my order was placed and I waited patiently. When I finally got home and opened the food, I was genuinely shocked by what I saw and tasted. The wings I received were clearly not freshly made. They appeared to be old chicken that had already been cooked earlier, then lazily tossed in pepper seasoning just before being handed to me. The seasoning wasn’t properly applied—it looked rushed, uneven, and unappetizing. Quality and care were clearly not a priority here. The fries were cold, and not a single part of the order was prepared correctly. I order from Popeyes often, especially this style of wings, so I know what the food should taste like. Read moredon't place a mobile order at this location unless you want to be accused of trying to steal. came in and waited in line to pick up a mobile order, smiled, gave my name and got immediate attitude. the cashiers apparently don't know how to read, or keep their mouths shut because they immediately made it a race issue by trying to badmouth me in spanish. unfortunately for la goblina behind the counter, my mother in law who was with me speaks spanish. they immediately tried to back pedal and tell us we were rude. i simply told them my order name and asked for the cups for the drinks. I was told THEY'RE MAKING THEM. when my mother in law asked for the manager's name she started ridiculing her and refused to give her name or the customer service number. when we finally got our food, i had to double check my ticket, and sure enough the GARLIC wings were covered in sweet sauce and bbq. I brought it for them to fix, which they did unhappily, and as my mother in law tried to get a photo of the despicable incompetent manager to give corporate (maybe next time give your name, huh?), a dude from behind the counter came out to tell us he was calling the cops and followed us out of the building. anyway, i blew that impotent loser a few kisses and laughed all the way home with my popeyes account already crediting back the money i shouldn't have spent on this...
