First time at this location and had a pretty bad experience. The cashier was very blunt and short with me instead of asking "would you like it sliced or toasted" she said "what do you want done to it" and I kinda asked what confused since I had just said sliced not toasted she got attitude. Then while waiting 10 minutes because they didn't make my two non toasted bagels with cream cheese two other customers were served before me...one who was obviously new to the store and when he ordered she again asked "what do you want done to it" he responded confused and then got the same attitude rolled eyes response of "like cream cheese sliced toasted " with a large sigh. Finally after being asked again if mine was for there or to go, I got my bagels....mind you it wasn't busy...so to slice and out cream cheese in a tub should take Max of 5 minutes with the 6 visible employees standing there...I got handed my items. Once home I see the bagel is barely sliced through so it's a quarter of a circle on one side and the entire bagel on the other so it doesn't fit in a toaster
I usually go to the one in Wyoming and get great service. Being this location is bound to get a lot more traffic being downtown. I'm very disappointed. I...

White Chocolate Mocha - $5.79: NOT on the menu, but I asked and they happily complied. It is my favorite at other coffee places and this one was about what I would expect for the price. It was medium rich and medium sweet.
NOTE: “A 3% surcharge is being added to all checks to help offset fast-rising expenses.” All other 4GR8 restaurants do this, but they are almost the only restaurants I know in the area that do this. Small charge, but still feels underhanded. They have been doing it for more than a year. Just adjust your prices! See their website for their side of the story.
Service: Helpful, quick. The younger gentleman knew how to take care of my unique request very quickly. I had my coffee ordered and in my hand in record speed.
Atmosphere: Somewhat older coffee shop feel. Not run down by any means, but it has that old nostalgic feel. It was wonderful.
The bathroom had a sign telling you to get a key from the front desk, but it was not locked.
Conclusion: I think I’ll come back for a coffee with another friend sometime.

Read moreI've visited twice recently and had a mixed experience. The staff is friendly, but there have been a couple of mix-ups with my orders. Yesterday, I received a sandwich with pork instead of the turkey I requested, and today, my sandwiches were not toasted as asked. Additionally, I found paper in my sandwiches, which raised concerns about sanitation. While I appreciate the convenience of grabbing a quick bite, the quality and attention to detail seem to be lacking, considering the price. I believe there's great potential here, and I hope to see improvements in future visits.
UPDATE: I reached out to Bagel Beanery and spoke with the General Manager, Bri/Bree. I was pleased with the prompt and courteous response. A refund was issued immediately, and I was offered a certificate for my next visit to make up for the inconvenience. I appreciate the management's willingness to address the concerns and their gesture of goodwill. This response has restored my confidence in their customer service, and I look forward to giving them...
