Similar to the review below mine, our pizza took over an hour, but the real kicker is that the tracker said the pizza was on it’s way at 1:20 (we placed our order at 1:03) I called at 1:45 and the employee said that the tracker was incorrect and that the driver had left just 5 minutes ago. We live 0.4 miles from the dominoes. Our pizza arrived at 2:05 AM. The driver ignored instructions on where to deliver the pizza to, and knocked on my neighbors door instead... at 2:05 AM. The pizza was not hot. I called again and the employee who answered said she would talk to “the girl I talked to before.” She didn’t put me on hold and I could hear them both smack-talking me. The same employee returned to the line (the other girl had refused to talk to me) and told me that my food took less than an hour (it took 62 minutes) and that they typically discount food after an hour (apparently she felt no need to address the quality of our food or the driver knocking on the wrong door). I informed her that we lived less than half a mile away. She informed me (in a combative manner) “Well, we only have 2 drivers on shift, on a Saturday night.” How is this my problem? It’s a Saturday night and you are a pizza place! Get more drivers!!! I told her that I don’t order pizza based on the delivery staffing of their store because I have no knowledge of such things. To which she replied, “Well it’s not /my/ problem when you get your pizza.” Then she hung up on me. I used to order pizza from dominoes all the time. I just moved to Grand Rapids and I’ll be getting my pizza elsewhere. If you want lukewarm pizza and awful customer service and delivery times of over an hour, order from this...
Read moreFor whatever reason, my wife and I decided to try Domino's Pizza for dinner last Saturday night. Perhaps I need to have my head examined. Upon delivery (the woman who delivered our two pizzas was very nice), we opened up our boxes to discover that my pizza was the completely wrong pizza. I ordered the 'Honolulu Hawaiian' with no roasted red pepper. The pizza we received was a Veggie pizza with extra mushroom - an ingredient that I am allergic to. We called the store to notify them of the mistake... the person who received the call was rude and had an attitude when we asked about getting the correct pizza redelivered. "Well, we're giving you free pizza... " was his answer. After discussing with a manager, the pizza was remade and redelivered. No apologies for the mistake was given over the phone. The nice delivery driver apologized for the mistake when she arrived for the 2nd time. Upon opening the new pizza, it was made correctly but had 12 pieces of pineapple (for a 12" pizza... I guess one piece of pineapple for one inch of pie) and no sauce. I don't understand why there isn't a quality check done on food before it leaves a location. Especially when it is to correct a mistake. We will never order food from this location ever again or from Domino's. Thanks for confirming that this was a bad idea...
Read morePizza usually tastes good. Delivery drivers often forgets things, poor communication, inconsistencies in how the pizza is prepared. Ordered a pizza tonight to be delivered and I went 3 hours without receiving it and calling them many times with no answer before they finally picked up. I told them the situation and the person on the phone told me their driver had been delivering pizzas fresh out of the oven and that mine essentially got forgotten. He was apologetic and kind, and told me the pizza would be remade (per my request) and would be made free. I think he handled the situation appropriately however I am still very bothered that this massive oversight took place (and that it was impossible for me to even let them know, and that they hadn't noticed on their own).
Edit: Removed another star to give this place and even worse review. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but today they just didn't put sauce on my pizza for no reason. Having to get it remade and...
