Gimme's Par and Grill — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

Best new place in town! We rented a multi-sport bay for an hour and were able to do golf, frisbee golf, and soccer with our family of 4 before we ran out of time. There were many other sports like hockey, basketball, football, foot golf and more. Could've easily stayed another hour! Golf clubs, balls, frisbees and all of the equipment is provided, but you are also able to bring your own if you prefer. The food was top-notch. A HUGE selection and something for everyone. We got the tenderloin tips as an appetizer. Our amazing waiter recommended we get the meal (Tips and Frites) because the appetizer only had one skewer of steak and we'd get more for our money with the meal. This was a great suggestion and the tenderloin was SO TENDER and seasononed perfectly. The parmesan truffle fries were out of this world with a perfect crunch on the outside and soft inside. For our meal, I got the Steak Au Pouivre Sandwich without the bun to keep it low-carb. I cannot imagine eating this as a sandwich. It was so saucy and cheesy in the best way that a fork was the way to go. I will get this again. The rest of the family enjoyed the Bacon Royale (bacon bun, need I say more?), the classic chicken sandwich, and the chicken tenders. Definitely check this place out and...

Glad we gave Gimme's a try. The interior is spacious and seating was very comfortable. Love that they can open their windows on a nice day. Hostess was very friendly and we were seated immediately. The seats are upholstered, cushioned, and comfy. The food was a serious surprise. My husband tried the biscuits and gravy. Gimme's is chipotle flavored. He said it was some of the best B&G he has eaten ever. I had chicken wings app and sweet potato fries. The chicken wings were perfect. Crispy on the outside (no batter) and so moist on the inside. The sweet potato fries were seasoned perfectly to not overpower the flavor of the potato. Didn't use anything on them, not even ketchup. We hate overly salted food and were so happily surprised that Gimme's didn't do that. They didn't overseason or oversalt. Everything was cooked to perfection. My partner and I came here to check it out & grab a few drinks at the bar. Great atmosphere , drinks were well presented however they were very weak. As the night went on, the staff became less attentive. Great at first but then the Bartenders seemed to be more concerned about cleaning and closing down the bar at 10 pm (when they close at 11:45) than attend to customers. They picked up glasses & slips right by us, completely ignoring us. We had to walk up to ask for our bill, and once we had bill, no one came by to pick up our card for another 10 minutes. Once again we had to walk up and get their attention to have our card swiped. I’ve never had an experience where it took near 20 minutes to cash out when the bar was nearly empty. We noticed a few servers & manager at end of bar oblivious of anything.
