So satisfying! Go here. I’ll be back 👍.
Food (Most important part, right?): Though it’s a place named and known for their unique hotdog creations, I got their double cheeseburger. Honestly, it’s one of the better burgers I’ve had in GR. I would say it’s currently my second favorite (BUT this one is much more cost effective 😉). I got their Belgian Fries plain. They were delicious. Their flavor is reminiscent of Five Guys fries (good!), but they taste hardier and fresher, which is awesome.
Atmosphere: Smaller interior with a corridor feel, but a decent amount of seating still. Fun music, relaxing space, and brownie points for having Mario Kart on Nintendo 64 available to play in the back! Blast to the past!
Customer Service: Two guys were super efficient despite quite a few people in the restaurant. I was surprised to get my food so quick even ordering after a large group. Also, I wasn’t only greeted when I got to the register to order but also as I made it to the back of the line, which always makes an impression for me. Had a conversation with them afterwards, and they’re super friendly.
Great work, guys! I’ll be back to try more...
Read moreMy husband and I came to One Stop Coney last year and had a great meal—friendly staff and delicious food. Sadly, our return visit was the complete opposite.
I ordered the Olive Smash Burger and fries. The burger was burnt, dry, and flavorless from edge to center. Not a bit of meat flavor, all just crunchy with no moisture at all. Completely inedible. The fries were bland and forgettable. My husband tried to order a Flint Style Coney Dog, only to be told they no longer carry the chili sauce—even though it’s still printed on the menu. This was the whole reason we came! He ended up with a plain hotdog from a pile that apparently had been cooked ahead of time was and was cold, with a bun that was hard on top and soggy on the bottom. Also inedible.
We spent over $22 on food we had to throw away. What was once a place we enjoyed has become a place we will...
Read moreI've eaten here before and was excited about eating here again. I walked on and decided to try a $5.50 American Cheese Classic. Had to be great. I decided to buy a glass of Coca-Cola as well. I decided to pay with my debit card. First, the guys were nice and cool. When I decided to hit no tip and planned on tipping, once I saw what I got, that ended. It had already cost 8.50. As you can see, the wrapping was done with what looked like painters tape. The Classic Grilled Cheese was ... a grilled cheese sandwich. Like I've said eaten here before. Was excited and can't explain what just happened. I'm so sad and hope that I can change this rating and review the next time I stop by. I will say Nintendo 64 in the back and beautiful plants and cool...
