Partage — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

I'm addicted to the bahn mi. It may be a problem. Everything else I've tried has been really good too, but when the sidedoor isn't open, the bahn mi sneaks into my thoughts and it eats away at me (when I'm supposed to be the one eating IT!). I also recommend the various desserts/treats they rotate in and out - they are decadent - in the truest definition of the word: they are rich, luxurious, and delicious, such that I can keenly sense the moral decay setting in when I sneak them past my wife and kids to eat them in hiding, with no intention of sharing even the smallest morsel! Ironic, perhaps, that I'm unwilling to share my "Partage". 😏

Update Ok, so I just reviewed this place a few weeks ago (above), but I had to leave an update because that was before they introduced the "Savory Pot Roast Sammie".

Today I had the most wonderful experience. I wandered in as I was enjoying my lunch-break walk. I didn't expect to sit down and eat but the staff was so friendly and warm I felt welcome right away. We talked about the sunshine and I ordered a sandwich (of which I cannot find on the online menu?). The turkey was cold, the bacon was hot, the bread was warm and fresh. As I ate, I heard something I can only describe as the laughter of my young mother from the other room. The rosemary turkey bacon club elicited in me something close to pure joy, a message from a greater beyond (my mother is still alive, but she's a nice lady). My experience at Partage echoed to me "today is the day", a message that I know now to mean "any day is the day" so long as you're open to accept it as a gift. I sit now in the twilight of my life, eager to plunge deeply into the great beyond. I hear again my mother's laughter (she is alive and well), welcoming me to joy more deeply than this plane may carry me. I am flying. Partage bangs 🔥

Dropped in for the breakfast soft launch and had the Sammie and it was so bomb. My mom got the sweet n spicy scramble and I ended up getting one too and that too was incredible.

The Sammie fulfilled my classic breakfast craving, top level biscuits, and perfect egg. 😮‍💨 The scramble was a higher end craft breakfast type taste with the perfect balance of flavors, not too sweet, not too spicy, just right. 🤌🏼

The vibes here are immaculate and the team is good people. Shoutout Angie you the best, and thanks for great coffee, and shoutout Jason for the welcoming spirit and good conversation. 🙏🏼
