Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

About a year ago I went and placed and order and my drinks where not what I wanted. I complained and owner/manager did not care. Anyway I decided to give them another chance and have been going back regularly for the past 2 months. I just stopped by for the last time!!!! I made an order online like usual and redeemed some rewards I had since I’ve been going a lot. The person who gave me my drinks was annoyed that I told him my drink came with whipping cream. He pointed out my drink did not come with whipping and that I should have paid extra. I paid for whipping cream on my other drinks but on the cappuccino blender the whipped cream does come included, it does not give you an option to add whipping and pay more it only give you the option to take it off. I’m also tired of paying for the larger drinks and getting less. Your employees need to be better trained when it comes to customer service and need to look over the menu. Started going to Scooters when they built a new one on Plainfield. They were already pretty high priced as it was. Especially considering that you never really know if they will make it properly. I order the Turtle with an extra shot of espresso. Maybe 1 out of 10 times I order would actually have Carmel on top (like the picture on the menu). Keep in mind, this drink was $7.35. Now they discreetly raise the prices without updating the prices on the menu. I draw the line on the inconsistency at $8 per drink. Y’all lost my everyday patronage. It is now 0 patronage. I recently tried a cup of coffee from Scooters and while a tad expensive, it was very good coffee and I knew I would come back. I came back on March 31st at 7:55 PM and was glad they were open. The 'OPEN' light was lit up so I drove through the drive thru only to be told they were closed. Look, I get it was very close to the end of their day but the place was obviously open and it wasn't 8:00! They COULD have easily just made me a cup of coffee, but instead turned me away during their hours of operation.
