Tacos El Cuñado Plainfield — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

Put in a curbside order, they didnt bring it out to me, I go in and get it ten minutes later giving the benefit of the doubt cause it was kinda busy. It just sitting on the counter. I had to stop somewhere else for food for someone else so it being cold was my fault. Got home and it’s all jumbled in the box steak in the rice, rice in the steak etc.(it sat still in my car) I called because 1. It was all messed up 2. I had to go in and get my order 10 minutes after they were suppose to bring it to me. So it sat there from the time it was done which who knows when to the time I decided they weren’t gonna bring it out. I call their first issue was the fact that my order was 30 minutes ago I told him yeah my issue isn’t that it’s cold. It’s that 1. I had to get my order 10 minutes after you guys were supposed to bring it out to me and two It’s all messed up in the box. They tell me well they don’t do curbside pick up. You have to go in and get it and I said then why does it let me put the information in on your website? It tells me to give you guys the color of my car and the type of car. They said oh well yeah we don’t know why it does that. OKAY so take it off then or write that u have to come in. Not worth going back to…...

I had a craving for a burrito tonight and went to my go to of Taco Boy and they had changed hour's and closed earlier than I expected. So as I headed down Plainfield towards downtown I saw this restaurant was open. After checking the menu board I decided on a burrito pastor because the board said Burritos we're 8.49. Yet when she rang me up the price was $9.99? I asked her why the board said $8.49? She she acted like she didn't hear me and just pointed at the register again and I was like whatever I'm hungry I just not going to fight it's late I'll just pay it. So eventually I got my burrito. And I have to say I was quite disappointed it's very small I mean you get bigger $2 burritos at Taco Bell. And while the flavor was good the value just wasn't there. Was it a $10 burrito not my opinion was it even an $8.50 burrito I don't think so. If in the future I go here I'll just stick with tacos. Although I may not come back because it still feels a little shady that the menu board says one price and they ring you up...

It was a busy dinner I went in to get dinner to go. The young man that took my order got it wrong, & items were missing, I didn't know until I got all the way home. I called to let them know the young man needs to take his time when he takes orders & what food I got I would eat. The owner Daniel told me no I will personally make your food and bring it to your home. After a few mins of me telling him no. I agreed to let him within 20 mins I had what I ordered very hot and delicious. Thank you so much Daniel your food is amazing and I'm never disappointed.. I've been to all of your restaurants starting on Burton St all the way to the new restaurant in Cedar springs.. on busy nights there are a few mix-ups in the restaurant business I know I have been a server almost 40 yrs. keep feeding amazing food to all of us... I hope you can expand further north to those who have no clue about real good Mexican food. Again your dedication is above and beyond what I ever expected... Thank you. your crew is very...
