Woody's Cone Stop — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

I waited 45 minutes for them to serve 6 people in front of me. My wife ordered chocolate soft serve in a dish and this lady hands her vanilla. My wife asked for chocolate and the lady argued with her and said that's not what my wife ordered, even though I was standing there and heard her say chocolate. Another person had to get my wife the correct order because this lady couldn't comprehend she made a mistake. I ordered a large cone dipped in chocolate and I received it smashed in a cup. I asked for a smaller cone not smashed and the lady tried to blame me for smashing it. When I asked again for her to remake it, she held just a cone out and told me she won't take my cone back. I asked for a third time for her to remake it. She said she would but wouldn't give me a cup so I can "enjoy the mess," even though I didn't ask for another cup. She then handed me the cone and yelled "here you go buddy." The ice cream she handed me was not even dipped all the way and tasted awful.

She was condescending and rude. I would not recommend coming here at all. I will...

Friday night and they turn us away at 9:55 saying they closed at 9:50. All the lights on, customers at the window, neon OPEN sign on, sign at road also on. Insisted on refusing our business. Worst customer service I’ve had in a very long time!!!

Edit to add: when we called to let owner know of this odd experience, we were told that’s her policy; to stop taking orders at 9:50. Then that’s what you list as a closing time. She decided to let us know she wasn’t going to argue about her long standing policy (which not being “regulars”, how would ANYONE know that when online listing and in person signs say OPEN when it’s later than 9:50) and then proceeded to announce “we’re done”. Horrible customer service with a ridiculous wait. The lady with the fake eyelashes who took our order could not stop rolling her eyes when we ordered food. Guess what if you don't want to serve food then don't offer it. She then read my order back which was wrong and when I corrected her she said "yea yea I wrote it down, they know". Food was incorrect and even missing food. We asked for them to correct it. (Needed 4 hotdogs just ketchup) they returned with 4 hotdogs just mustard. Asked them to make them again .
