First and last time going here. Went on a Thursday at dinner hour, 5:30/6pm. I’m sorry, I don’t normally go with writing a bad review, but this place needs some serious work. Atmosphere was fine, pretty standard as chinese buffets go. But the food… was just bad. The beef in all dishes tasted and chewed like cheap beef jerky soaked in greasy sauce, I couldn’t get through it, and my husband even spat it out and he is one step away from a garbage can when it comes to eating anything you put in front of him. All of the dishes were lukewarm with a heavy sheen of oil and grease, the lo mein was spaghetti noodles with nothing else. My daughter is a fiend for lo mein, in fact our main reason for going to a buffet is so she can eat as much as she wants since it’s one of her few things she loves after having her feeding tube removed, and she refused to eat these noodles beyond one bite. The desserts all tasted stale like they had been put out night after night, and half the items on the salad bar were brown when they should not have been. Even the ice cream looked like it had been fully melted and refrozen over a dozen times. It felt painful handing over nearly $30 to this buffet when all 4 of us barely ate a combined single plate of food. Do yourself a favor and stick with the Chinese buffet on 28th st in...
Read moreWalked in, greeted by the lovely Amy, and was sat down pretty quickly. Amy was nice at first but then I noticed she developed a pretty bad staring problem, more on that later. I was glancing at the food at the buffet, first glance it looked pretty good, grabbed some pork rib and then I noticed Amy popped up from the other side. At first, I didn't think anything of it. Got the rest of my plate and then proceeded to chow down. I had this feeling someone was staring at me, low and behold, Amy was in the corner giving me the hardest stare I've ever seen. I was pretty alarmed, but I finished my first plate anyway. I got up to get my second plate and some workers started pointing and speaking Chinese at me, this is when I got pretty scared. I had no one to talk to and report this problem to, so I went over to Amy who was staring at the whole time I walked towards her. I asked her what the workers were saying and she said "Me no speak English". When she obviously greeted me earlier in English I was VASTLY confused. I destroyed my second plate and got up quickly for thirds. Overall the food was mid, but I might never return because of Amy, btw she followed me all the way to the exit and said "Have a nice night!" in perfect english, weird shit going on with amy might wanna...
Read moreFirst and most definitely the last time going here with my family! To start salad was browning and what was offered at the salad bar was as if they just threw a bunch of random things together that won’t even make for a decent salad. The food was cold the selection was bare minimum, and what was available was old especially the noodles they appeared very old and for my kids to not like it says a lot. It was Sunday and I saw that it advertised Snow crab legs. I sat for over an hour waiting for more to come out because the pan that they were in was literally dry with only a tip of what was not wanted left Sitting at the bottom. When the server came around I asked if they were going to fill it back up, her response was we only put some out some times, not all the time. She made it seem as if they were done serving crab legs and we got there a little over 6pm!! Then not even 10 minutes later they came around and poured new legs ( which was LITERALLY 5 sorry a$$ legs) into the pan that had film (from it over boiling and evaporating), and one too tiny tinny tip of the leg that was practically glued to the bottom of it. The servers and staff were very unwelcoming and seemed very annoyed. I wouldn’t even give this place one star, not to mention how...
