I went there with my son and my mother, she had wanted a rootbeer freeze. We ordered and I had to explain to the girl who took our order what a freeze was and we never go to Sonic so we didn't know that when she told me oh that would be a slushy, that she was a idiot and couldn't figure it out. I told her it's like a shake but instead of milk you put rootbeer. Not a hard concept to understand. So I gave her the benefit if the doubt that she was intelligent enough to get it, we ordered a rootbeer freeze and a coke freeze. When we received the order we got a coke slushy and a rootbeer slushy and they were actual slushies not what we told her we wanted and she assured me she understood. So I told the guy what we had ordered and not even one of the 3 people we dealt with knew what a freeze was and none of them could get the concept. I had to explain it like 6 times before the one of them actually got it. They thought I had made it up or something, I said I can go to Dairy Queen and order a freeze and they know what I'm talking about and I named off about 3 more places. The last guy said well I've never been to any of those places. How can you be like 18 and never have been to a Dairy Queen, or Jimmy's, or A&W, or Fosters Freeze. Read moreSo we just got into town a few days ago met with Brandy and she was absolutely amazing. And that's where the good story ends.
Seems that Brandy took off for a day or two and as soon as she left they shut down the app they have been charging full price even during happy hour which means I'm paying more than 50% then I should.
It makes absolutely no sense to me that these people shut down the app, and then lie about it saying we don't have anything to do with it it's corporate but in fact it's not corporate it's bull$#!T
Turning off the app and instead of having everything automated they make their people run around collecting cash or cards running back in to process the cash or cards and return with change not to mention having to push a button and take the speaker and answer the questions in order your order that takes considerably more time than someone being able to order on the app press a button pay for it on the app and pick it up when it's ready. As you can see I'm a little frustrated that the fact that they have this wonderful automation tool and some rando person decides to turn it off because it's inconvenient for them when in fact it's not about them it's about the consumer.
Truly wish someone here would get their act together and make it work seems that every other Sonic in the area is doing just fine...
Read moreI'm a Door Dash driver and had a bad experience getting an order for a customer today, TUESDAY APRIL 11, at approximately 530pm. I arrived around 5pm and waited around 15 minutes before I called the customer to tell them I was still waiting. Customer was very nice and appreciated my update. Then I waited until 530pm and moved my car to push the button for help. Someone answered and I told them how long I had been waiting and this was unacceptable. They said they would check. A couple minutes later a young female came out with the order and in a very nasty tone proceeded to tell me Not to order Door Dash anymore, she said they were busy and then repeated Not to order Door Dash again and turned and walked away. I watched many customers receiving their orders at the drive up window so they must have been priority over their Door Dash customer. Wasting my time and your customers time and then hearing some immature female worker be disrespectful was bad business. I'm sure she isn't the owner that made arrangements to use Door Dashes services, I won't accept any deliveries from this location and would not recommend others to frequent this location.
