Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Granville Township

I ordered in the store for carry out. One bowl, two kids quesadillas and one regular size quesadilla. I was informed they could not make me the regular size quesadilla and that it had to be ordered through the app and picked up through the pick up window. I found this slightly confusing and inconvenient. When I inquired why, they just explained they can’t do it. Granted, this might be a policy that is out of their control. However, they did not seem to be affected or apologetic about this inconvenience to me.

So, I ordered my three items in the store. Then ordered the regular quesadilla via the app and got in my car to drive through the pick up lane. The app said it would be ready in 10 minutes.

I have been in the pick up line for over 20 minutes and have not moved. Overall, not a great experience.

I ordered ahead for pickup at the window because I was in a rush and needed to eat in my car before an event. After waiting several minutes in the car with no updates, I went inside. The store is clearly divided between the window pickup section and the dine-in area. Only one person was handling all the window orders, while four other employees in the restaurant section were just cleaning and not helping.

My meal was 25 minutes late. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of urgency from the staff. No one acknowledged the delay, and it seemed like they didn’t care that customers were waiting. Once again, my trip to Chipotle left me thoroughly disappointed—it’s clear that high food quality and excellent customer service are a thing of the past.

As is all too common, the restaurant was out of key ingredients, forcing us to wait for white rice to be prepared. The wait wasn’t worth it: the rice was completely overcooked and mushy. The chicken tasted old and unpleasantly chewy, and my son’s burrito was skimpy on portions containing only about a third of the chicken it should have, with half the burrito lacking any chicken at all.

To top it off, the staff was rude and inattentive, and the store itself was noticeably dirty for such a brand-new location. Chipotle, please step up your game—customers...
