Joe and Mimi's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Granville Township

Only gave one star because you cannot give a ZERO. Never been before.

We were in Granville OH, for a High School event. Left the High School about 6PM. Googled " Places to eat near me " this one was an option. It had good reviews and said they had in house dining indoor / outdoor. Looked at the menu and pics and though this is my place. Local, not franchised ... YEP.

It is like 2 miles from Granville HS. Get there. walk in the door, the lady working says you here for pick up? I said no, was hoping to dine in. She said. we do not offer dine in... Now this seemed very odd to me as they had multiple tables outside on the deck, and a few inside. I said well Google said you offer in house dining. She quickly and rudely replied " Well Google Lies " . I said WOW.. really.. OK then, I will be sure to leave you a good review and recommend you to all my friends.

I understand things change and if that is the case as if at one time they did offer dining ( again I assume they did, if you did not, why have so many tables , indoor and out ) . As a person who represented the business I would have said something like , At this time we are not offering in house dining, would you like to place an order to go ? Had she actually replied in this way I may have placed and order and went on my way. The fact that she simply said We Don't offer dining, Google Lies , turned me off. it was extremely rude and unprofessional. I am not sure if she was an owner or employee. She was older, like me, I think she may have been a partner or owner either way I did not stick around to find out. I said. WOW. That was rude, I ( had two others with me ) do not feel very welcome here. With so many pizza choices out there I will never be back and will never recommend. If i ever make it back to this area and drive by and they are out of business I will not be surprised and i may even smile.

THAT WAS TERRIBLE . YOU SHOULD NOT TREAT PEOPLE WHO WANTS TO GIVE YOUR BUISNESS MONEY THAT WAY.

Well I kept my money and gave it to another shop. NEVER will give it to you . YOU GUYS SUCK !

I ordered a calzone a few weeks ago, the ricotta had a sour taste, I called and let Mimi know about the problem with the calzone, she said to come in and she would take care of it. Fast forward to tonight. I called and ordered another calzone, along with pizza and meatballs. A few minutes later Mimi called me back and informed me that she would not take care of the calzone cost and said the ricotta was not sour! She was extremely rude and belligerent, basically calling me a liar. I canceled my whole order and told her I would not be coming back to her establishment..I have never been treated that way at a restaurant before. This is over a $7 calzone... If this is how a owner treats a customer,...

This is a small mom and pops pizzeria with limited dine in capacity and a patio for warmer weather. We had 1. A meatball which tasted good but could use a pop of flavor in my opinion (either spice or more salt). 2. The stuffed cheese bread with ricotta. This tasted great but the cheese inside was surprisingly cool and served with hot marinara to compensate. 3. A 16" cheese pizza with light sauce. This was slightly thicker than my ideal new york style pie and I wouldn't want my kids around if light sauce wasn't ordered! The overall taste could rate a B- for me. The staff(Including who I think were Joe and Mimi)were friendly enough but i)I got the impression they didn't want...
