Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Grapevine

I thought i would grab me a quick treat before my flight. I was the second person in line but while i was looking at the selections, waiting for my turn, a man got in front of me. I was totally railroaded. As he chattered away at how expensive the icecream was i waited patiently. When the employee.was about to take his order i kindly let him know i was actually next. The guy said "oh, take care of her",. The employee took my order in a rush , though he didnt mind having a "15 min" conversation with the man about how much everyrthing was . I ignored it. I wanted my icecream more than i cared about his lackluster customer service. I was still waiting for the lady in front of me but still standing behind the man because he didnt move. The employee still bypassed me to ring up the guy at which point i sat my purchase on the counter and kindly walked. I figured since he could care less about my value as a customer, why spend my money there. I felt the whole...

Sometimes all you need during a never-ending layover is a little comfort food, and Baskin-Robbins absolutely delivered. There was no line, which was a pleasant surprise, and service was quick and friendly. I went with two scoops of ice cream, and while the price felt steep, it’s the airport, at this point, inflated prices are part of the experience.

The ice cream itself was excellent, creamy, flavorful, and exactly what I needed to reset and recharge while waiting for my flight. Honestly, it ended up being the highlight of the layover. Sometimes it’s the small wins that make travel bearable.

Would definitely stop by again if I’m stuck in the terminal...

Gotta love a combined Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins! On this visit, that's what drew me here. Small selection of flavors--but hey, this is an airport! I'm just happy I found choices! I received a generous scoop and left with a smile. The gals who work this location deal with A LOT of people and are clearly tired of casual chit chat.
