First time to visit and I was told this place rocked specifically their carne asada street tacos. I ordered a “refried bean and cheese burrito with red sauce or red salsa inside” and a carne asada street taco. I was asked several questions on the burrito, meat choice, bean choice. Again, all I asked for was a flour tortilla, refried beans, cheese, and salsa or whatever red sauce they have!
I watched my food being made and I saw them put pinto beans in my burrito. I questioned it and she said it’s refried and that was someone else’s order.
As I was rang up, my total came to $12.87. I inquired as to why a bean and cheese burrito and a street taco cost $12.87? She re- rang it for $11.50. Still confused, she said something about red sauce. I was tired and didn’t want to argue.
Got home, and low and behold, pinto beans and ZERO cheese on my burrito. I did get a big Pepsi cub of red sauce or something that smelled like chicken broth with some veggies floating around. The street taco was pretty good though.
Still confused how a Carne Asada Street taco is $1.99 and I got that and a bean and cheese burrito (mine had zero cheese) and my total was still $11.50!
I called and of course no answer.
Good taco I guess and wrong...
Read moreEl favorite on Mill St was always one of my goto stops for delicious food. Unfortunately over the past year I've notice that the customer service has definitely taken a nose dive. I've had issues with getting the order correct or having the drive up person making me feel like I was putting them out by asking for extra salsa. But today was the kicker. I ordered street tacos and a large Coke. I paid for my meal and was given my drink cup and went to the dispenser only to find out they were out of Coke. They were out the last time I was there. There was nothing else I wanted so threw the cup and ice in the trash next to the machine. It had a liner. The counter worker suddenly says to me, dude I have to clean that out. I was surprised by what he said and looked at him and asked him to repeat because I was hoping I had heard him wrong. But he said the same thing. I told him that it's a cup, with ice, in a liner. He then asked me if I was going to take the cup out of the garbage. I told him if you want I can leave it there or take it out and toss it on the ground. He said nothing else after that.
There are lots of great choices for Mexican food in town. I will never be back after that experience. So very...
Read moreSo my experience did not start well. Google put this location above the location that I usually call in my order to, which is closer! The description did not include the address in my view. So I ordered from the wrong location again because Google put the location that was farther away ahead of the closest location! Though annoying...I went to the other location a few miles away. I am not sure if they have a different recipe for the Chile relleno burrito at this location? It was awful! It tasted like it was old! How can you ruin a burrito? Well, using old or spoiled food, tastes sour and that tends to ruin a burrito or any food. Then the usually very good salsa bar had no to go cups. The guy that was helping said sorry, no more.... that's it... I asked for a cup...blank stare... finally gave me a cup but no lid! It was comical. Finally, the woman who gave me my order told him to get me a soup container after a few minutes ignoring the convo! The location on Mill Road location is much better and great customer service and their food is...
