Seems meat eaters like this place well enough, and I can’t speak to that part of the restaurant, but consider this a review to make the vegan options more appealing; I figure the purpose of having plant based options at all is to widen the customer base:
As a vegan, the plant based options were a bit limiting..very soy based, (correction?: I believe/d the Hungry Planet Burger is soy based because nutrition facts online list water, soy protein isolate, sunflower oil, etc..not sure if what’s in the book behind the counter says otherwise/they are using a product I’m not aware of? Or if I’ve got the product wrong?? This is what I was told, that it was a Hungry Planet Burger..) correct me if I’m wrong. Anyways, Beyond Burger is Pea Protein based, perhaps this is what they are serving, but the staff didn’t know that, or it would be a nice option! Making a nut burger without egg that vegans can eat would also be fantastic!
And when I say no vegan AND gluten free bun option, I mean there’s no GF option for vegans.
Dairy free shake was good, though it was really just a bunch of blended ice cream (yes I’m aware it’s Coco Bliss and that’s typically what a shake is)..for me it was just too much sugar for one person, I suggest to share! And I’m not a fan of coconut so that makes this being the only option a bit less desirable. Maybe better with the peanut butter added :)
Still three stars not because it was bad but because it was quite average (judging by vegan options) and I’d frequent it more often if these things were changed or...

I wasn't going to write a negative review, but after another disappointing experience, I'm going to share in hopes that the owners will come to better senses.
First experience: I work at a highly reputable and secure establishment in town. Occasionally, a very nice customer buys our staff lunch. We chose pine Street. We tried to place the order online (which is a pain that this is the only way to place a take out order, especially when busy and on the go). The online ordering system required us to put in the payment info prior to ordering. We didn't feel comfortable asking our customer for his card info, and called the manager to see if he would make an exception for our $80 order. They very firmly said no. We were quite disappointed at the lack of accommodation. We went w Big As instead who were extremely accommodating.
Second experience: Tonight I went to pine Street to get sandwiches for my child and myself. I ordered her a kids burger, and was appalled at what showed up on the order screen: .55 for tomato, .50 for spring mix, 1.45 for cheese. The counter person said they apply these charges to the kids burger because it only comes w bread and meat. WTF?!
As a single mom on a tight budget this is really disappointing. A kids burger without fries is 9+ bucks if we want to feed our kids some vegetables?!
Pine St owners, please stop being so greedy and self serving. There are community members out here that expect more out of you. I love your food, but no longer want to support your business. Hoping for...
Read moreWell, I have eaten here a handful of times and Unfortunately, my visit last week shined a light on something that I am concerned about! If you order online, someone still punches in your order. It’s pretty stupid. I have now had 2 instances where my order was wrong. Someone else picked it up and didn’t check to make sure it was correct. Tonight my burger was completely wrong and I was unable to eat because it was too late and I don’t have time to cook. VERY upsetting. This worker should be let go because of such a big mistake. I am vegan & GF and always order the Gf bun with my burger. Sometimes I have wondered if my bun was in fact Gf…but I never questioned because I paid extra for it and you expect it to be this. I now believe I have always been receiving a regular bun!! Another time I ordered burger, the bun wasn’t Gf because they didn’t punch it in. This is so terrible that they aren’t taking GF seriously. If I had a very serious intolerance, this could be a huge problem for them. So, I don’t know if I will return at this point because of the uncertainty and lack of care for their patrons. I should have received a complete refund for both meals. I should not have to ask if my bun is Gf. I shouldn’t have to check my order every time. I’ll be spreading the word about this to everyone I know. Please make this right in your kitchen. You can seriously hurt someone if it’s the...
