Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Grayslake

Grayslake Dominoes you rock, as in awesome. Every time we order from Grayslake location our order is 100 percent correct. The taste, unbelievably good!!! Best dominoes I've ever had, this store has an excellent crew. It takes such little time to order to when it's done. We have always picked up, have not tried carryout. I have one friend who does and she said it's great delivery. I love the notifications when we order in the domino's app.

Tonight we had a special with try new twisty breads ticks for a buck. OMG from first bite inkve. We had the parmasean flavor. They rocked. Dipping sauce also awesome.

I just don't understand the low rated reviews. We have almost lived here 10 years and have been ordering from this store ever since living here. We tried papa John's in Grayslake also, in our opinion it sucks. Order always wrong from Pappa John's and huge wait time for pick up at GL Pappa John's. Prices very inflated at Pappa John's also. At GL dominoes always reasonable prices.

We are picky on price and taste. Sorry we ever tried Pappa Johns as it's almost double price of Dominoes. GL Dominoes, you guys truly are a good pizza source. Note, we have had good tasting pizzas and correct orders FROM Pappa John's chain BUT Never from the one in GL. Our experience at GL Pappa John haven so bad I've almost written to their Corp HQ. GL Dominoes if I wrote to your corporate office, I would say your excellent in so many ways. Just too bad for others they don't see this.

The only complaint I have is parking lot lights at GL Dominoes is not so good, but I blame that on landlord. I've almost fallen picking up pizzas, so shame on landlord for being cheap in safe lighting.

SLOW SERVICE! You can watch everything go down on the tracker - food in the oven, food out of the oven, checked for perfection, out for delivery, but THIS Domino's lies. I couldn't figure out why it takes at least 30 minutes to get my food here when I only live 7 minutes away. Today, a couple of minutes after the tracker said my food was on the way I got a call from the store letting me know that they didn't have one of the food items I ordered. I got another notification literally 10 minutes ago that said "Hope you're enjoying your food," but it still hasn't been delivered. It has been 52 minutes since I placed the presser and 33 minutes since the tracker said it was out for delivery. One of two things is going on here. Either they are not making my food when they tell me they are, and that's why it takes so long to get to me, or they are making my food when they tell me they are, and it's sitting around getting very unfresh for a very long time. Also, on several occasions the delivery driver has turned up without something that I ordered and had to go back for it. This is absolutely the norm for this store. Unfortunately I can't choose another store to deliver to my house, so it looks like I'm going to have to switch to...

Ordered1 pizza and 3 garlic butters for pickup. When I picked up I was generally ignored and when I asked for my food they pointed to a rack and said, "it's right here". I took the food off the rack. The 8 or 9 employees were too busy talking to eachother to bother with me. When I got home I realized I had no garlic butter. When I called, the woman I spoke to offered to give me store credit or I could come back. I said I was not driving all the way back. She also told me they couldn't refund the money to my card because they would need to cancel then recharge my card. The entire time we spoke she was talking to me like I was a child. I told her to stop it and she claimed she wasn't doing anything so I told this woman since she didn't want to refund the card I said forget it. Not worth my time and frustration. Thank you Dominos for stealing $3.54. I'm sure that will make up for the loss of future business. I knew I shouldn't have bothered. The food was...
