This place is a solid 4/5. I was seated almost directly after I walked in. I waited nearly ten minutes for my server to drop by and say hello, though they were a bit on the busy side. That being said, once she said hi my glass was never empty for long.

With this being my first time here I wanted to try a variety of offerings.

I ordered a twenty piece chicken wing meal with Cajun fries. I requested three flavors on the wings to really get a feel for what they offer. The mango habanero was very good, with only a slight spiciness to it, and the sauced wings had a softer mouth feel to them and they were not drowning in sauce. The chicken was very juicy and tender. For the other two flavors I went with the Jamaican jerk and the Louisiana dry rubs. The dry rub wings have a wonderful crunch to them when you bite into the skin though the flavoring was almost too subtle. Like the sauced wings the chicken itself was very juicy and moist. This meal comes with Cajun fries as well as carrot spears and celery pieces. These were crisp and fresh which was a very pleasant surprise. The fries came with ketchup and the wings had ranch, though they did not need it. Most of the fries were nice and crispy, though there were a few that didn't have the crunch it didn't detract from the wonderful flavor. The wings are a little small for the price but the quality is 100% there.

On the seafood side I had the juicy combo 3 seafood boil. This came with a lobster tail, 1/2 lb of snow crab legs, 1/2 lb of shrimp, one half ear of corn, and two red potatoes in the bag. I was pretty excited when I was told they offer an extra hot option as I am a fan of spicy foods, sadly I was disappointed here as the mango habanero wings had infinitely more spice than the boil did. That being said, the spices in the boil were immaculate. The flavor was out of this world and complemented everything in the bag nicely. The potatoes feel like they could have spent a little more time being boiled and the crab lobster just a little less but overall this order was phenomenal.

For dessert I had a slice of raspberry cheesecake that had the thickness and richness of a New York style cheesecake. The whipped cream on the plate tasted like it came out of a container and wasn't freshly made, but it was still tasty. The raspberry sauce was a little bit of a let down because it tasted more like a raspberry syrup, much too sweet and no tartness at all, than actual raspberries . Still definitely recommend this as a dessert if you enjoy cheesecake for sure.

My final takeaways from my first visit is that I will most certainly be back. The wings are just about worth the price due to the fantastic quality. If they had slightly larger wings or a slightly lower price it would be a great deal. The seafood is most certainly over priced for the quantity of food you receive but like the wings, the quality is 100% there.

The inside is a bit cramped but they have a lot of outdoor seating, not really feasible when there is snow all over the patio furniture, so be prepared to interact with your table neighbors and have a mild headache from how loud it is if you sit inside.

The few minor things I pointed out are what robbed this place of a 5 but they have most certainly earned a strong 4. Absolutely recommend stopping in if this is your...

Finally this opened...been waiting for a long time to find out what it was going to be about. I always enjoy seeing greeley the food desert get new restaurants that aren't mexican..

Upon waiting for the opening I was a bit sketched thinking about the wings and fish concept....I mean land locked Colorado and fish don't always get along. Greeley seems to have wanted this though as atleast the opening night was packed.

For us, there was a few real highlights....but also a couple of misses, and all talk about all of it. Now we didn't do the "boils" that almost everyone else seemed to be there for...they looked good...and smelled good....we just were not trying to be that interactive with our food!

Service I'll talk about first....miss....I do understand that this was opening night. Not everyone is fully trained....but chef/expo....if a table orders more than 1 appetizer send them out at the same time....the chowder that just needed scooped into a bowl should have waited until the hushpuppies were cooked. Service was needs work....train to look for water refills before being asked, anticipate the guest...

Appetizers.... Hushpuppies....Absolute HIT!!! Highly recommended....light and fluffy, crunchy exterior and very flavorful.

Clam Chowder....I won't say a hit....but absolutley not a miss either....I'm from SF though so my chowder standards are very high!

Mains....

Fried Catfish with fries....now the catfish was very good...light and flaky, not hugely fishy so obviously farmed, very nice crispy coating, seasoned well....the tartar sauce, very interesting take on tartar...TASTY! The fries, to me average.

Fried Shrimp ordered with onion rings....I didn't try a shrimp but my partner said he enjoyed them. The cocktail sauce I did try though and it was very nice...it had a good amount of horseradish in it. The miss of the dish was the onion rings...just fairly bland. (More on this later)

The biggest miss I feel about this place, is all the plastic. Yes it's fast casual....still sit down though, single use plastic just isn't good. Throw away water cups, throw away ramekins for all sauces....our 2 top had 7 just for us....this all just goes to landfill and doesn't go away. Hopefully they are waiting for glass/ramekin delivery or a dishwasher to be installed?

Now, lastly, a chef/owner/manager not sure who it was came and asked us how things were...we gave our opinions and mostly only talked about the good....Only mentioned the bland onion rings....he got fairly defensive saying well next time there are plenty of other things you should try then....obviously in his mind they are perfect....

Words of advice....everyone has opinions....specially in the restaurant industry, just don't get defensive...specially after we hyped up how much we enjoyed other things.

I am looking forward to coming back. I'm going to need to try some of the wings that I didn't really see anybody order while we...

We've been watching for this restaurant to open for some time. I was out of town on opening night but that's ok I learned my lesson a long time ago to give a new place a week or so to work out the kinks. Some of the reviews here are negative because of those kinks.

We had a great experience, service was snappy, food was hot, drinks were strong.

I chose to have wings, Louisiana Dry Rub with Cajun fries. Wings were crispy, flavourful and the same size you get at most of the wing places. They were not small.

MiLady had combo #2, shrimp, crab, sausage with a medium sause. The crab we're knuckles and a little small but very sweet and delicious. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. Sausage, potatoes and corn that were included were fantastic.

We had a watermelon margarita and a coconut ginger mule. Excellent drinks.

They did a decent job decorating with the exception of one little flaw we noticed on the Redrocks Murel. Greeley is spelled incorrectly, oops.

We were seated right away since we were there early on a Friday night. We had a server right away and stinks within minutes. Once we ordered our food was at the table much faster than expected. Our server checked in on us several times.

Overall a fantastic experience. We will be back for sure. Many other menu items we...
