I have a large family and spend over $1k per month on groceries. Every single visit, this store is out of stock on several items. When I have asked employees for help with out of stock items I've received comments such as "I don't know, I'm not a stocking agent;" "we don't give rainchecks on that;" or even been told they would go check yet they never return. I have never once left the store with everything on my list or with a rain check. My next complaint is with bagging. I make it a point to put my reusable freezer bag with my frozen groceries and ask they be put in there (it's a 25 minutes drive back to my house) and 9 times out of 10, they're not bagged in it. I have rearranged completely how I unload my cart to ensure my produce and bread are on top. Yet they still manage to bag them on the bottom and bread and produce are smashed. Every single time. When I have attempted to bag my own groceries, someone relieves me and says that if I do it, they will get in trouble. Fromm now on, I will drive the extra distance to shop a different...
Read moreWe primarily do Kroger pickup, but most times the orders are fulfilled with all items available and no items missing. We have had a few where we received the wrong item or an item was missing, but the King Soopers app makes it quick to get a refund or replacement. Going inside the store it seems to always be well stocked and the store is clean and well organized. As this is not far from Walmart, I would recommend the distance if you want good enough prices with the potential to save on gas at the attached gas station. The overall selection seems to also be a bit better than Walmart. At least for the items we find ourselves shopping for. I think it's important to note that finding an employee that is helpful or friendly is common and I'd dare to say that the checkout people and the drive up people are often the nicest people there. Whereas in store it is often hard to find anyone and they seem as though you've put them out with...
Read moreThe worst pharmacy ever. My reoccurring monthly Rx is never ready, and has to be ordered, which takes days. I even tried to set up auto refill. Their solution is to have me call and remind them. So I did and it still didn't work. Now my prescription is so screwed up that I can't get my medicine and they told me I can only get it if I pay the $1,000 that the insurance is not paying since they screwed up the prescription. They told me that the solution could be to have my doctor call the insurance company or submit a new prescription or some other BS. They are not even willing to fix it even though it was their mistake. Now I am out of a medicine that has serious side effects when not taken. Do not go here try...
