DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR LODGING. They will nickel and dime you, lie to you, and then not even attempt to make things right or work with you when it’s their lack of training and communication that has the situation occurring in the first place. First of all the advertisement of it being a better deal the longer you stay is false advertising. I originally was going to stay for a total of a month. For 30 days it was going to be almost $2000 dollars. To get the deal they want you to pay the full month upfront (in this economy), we will come back to this. When I checked in I let the front desk assistant know that I did have 2 dogs and asked if it would be okay to pay 2 weeks in advance, and pay the dog pet fees when I came back to pay the next 2 weeks since I was going to originally be here a while. She said that I would be fine, and stated I could even pay the pet fees when I check out all the way at the end of my stay if I needed to. I had the money at the time to pay but I am recovering from a house fire and needed essentials for the room since they do not provide ANY outside of 1 set of towels and 1 set of bed sheets (anything thereafter they charge) so I decided to take the “courtesy” hold off on paying and thanked her for the nice gesture. Check in was 2/13 to be paid up for 2 weeks until 2/27. Fast forward to 2/20 I decided I needed to extend my room for about another month I called to the front desk who updated my reservation with the extension and casually asked about when I would need to pay next. She stated that I was due that following Monday. Confused I went to look at my reservation to check the day I originally checked in and noticed that for adding a month I was charged the same amount I was for 1 month PLUS SOME to extend. I went down to the front desk and the lady admitted she was new but that the manager would be in the following morning. Fast forward the following morning I go and talk to the manager about my billing and he stated that my pet fees ate up the balance I had paid essentially showing that I had only paid for 8 days when interestingly enough their policy says only 2 week or monthly pay frequencies for long stays. I was fine with that but asked if it would still be okay to either pay them at the end of my stay or even if they could allow me to pay when I came to pay the next two weeks on the day I originally had thought I would need to come pay. He said unfortunately there was nothing he could do because I would be then moved to a more expensive daily rate and have to pay daily or be removed and that I had until Saturday and they would need more money or I could not continue my stay. I advised him of what his staff had promised and he only said he would have a training session with her but that the policy was the policy. These people are lazy (the girl who checked me in) instead of being bothered to do the math and explain the policy had me believe I would be fine, and they are unwilling to right their wrongs or meet people halfway due to their mistakes. I was willing to pay all the fees I just needed a few days until I got paid which is what was agreed on at check in. The beds are hard, the walls are paper thin, the heating and cooling units suck, and for their prices you might as well get an Airbnb. They also charge outrageous pet fees and still charge a $50 linen cleaning fee every 2 weeks on top of the crazy pet fees which they don’t tell you about until you’re ready to check in. I will be checking out early and taking my business elsewhere more honest. WoodSpring suites not everyone is lying about their experience and your condescending responses to everyone proves your lack of...
Read moreI grew up in the area, so to Bob who reviewed saying it was a sketchy area, you sound butthurt about other stuff, that is definitely the nice part of town and you are right next to anything you could need. And the rooms are clean and big with new appliances. Regarding my 2 star review, I'll try to make it simple...they offer 2 tiers of WiFi. The 1st tier is free and is 4 mbps. The 2nd tier, you pay for, and they call it "high speed WiFi for streaming videos"...and it is 8 mbps. That's ridiculous. For those who don't know, 60 mbps is considered slow and 100-250 is what most places have. And they call this place a "long term stay" and usually caters to people working. Well I was on the phone with their technical support twice in 8 hours because the WiFi crashed 3 times; and you better believe you can't stream videos or have a video call. So if you need to do any computer work or want to watch Netflix, go somewhere else. But if you just want a nice bed, clean room, and you won't ever be in the hotel, then this is for you. It seems like they put shiney things to cover up the fact that the amenities aren't great. If I'm being fair, it is a long term stay place; so they offer things like washers and dryers downstairs and a big fridge in the rooms. BUT that also means less often room care, and less of the typical "hotel" amenities, e.g. breakfast, coffee in the room, etc. and you'd think if they call themselves "long term" that they would have usable WiFi. Idk about you guys, but I'd be pissed if my house had trash WiFi. And they cater to people traveling for work? Btw "cater" is a stretch. The people were nice, and like I said before it's in a great area with anything you could need close by. So if you want a comfy shiney box to only sleep in,...
Read moreThis is the worst hotel experience ever!! My Apt is under remodeling so my property management booked 6-day stay at this hotel, and everything was payed off through the property management credit card, and I have the confirmation number. When I get to this hotel to checkin: they STILL asked me for MY credit card!!! I asked WHY?? They said it won't be charged, is for accidental or any damage I may cause, but everything was covered by my property manager credit card. (Sounds like scam 💀) And they told me that: they don't provide any service (Internet/gym/swimming pool(not in site)/food) at this hotel!! Next day when I check: I found out that they provide almost all the services (beside swimming pool which not on site). Then I checked my credit card: ofcause they charged my credit card too💀. I brought this matter to my property manager, Right away. she called them, and everything was fine, and they gave me the key to the room again. I went to Denver for 2days and I asked if that would be a problem, they say no, I have a room wen I come back. Wen I come back: they had no room for me again!! I got mad at this time and asked why, but as a blackMan with dreads,( u can't be mad.) the supervisor of the hotel, instead of fixing the issue so I can go in my room, she called the Police to escort me outside, with my 5yo daughter!!! We had to go to find other hotel in the middle of the night!! ⚠️ If u are black person and u decide to book a room at this hotel: expect to be treated differently!!! And u can't win the case (law enforcement is always...
