My wife and I recently dined at La Fritanga Nica Bar & Grill, and I must say, it exceeded our expectations in every way! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a cozy and clean atmosphere that truly transported us to an authentic fritanga in Nicaragua.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Their warmth and hospitality really enhanced our visit.

Now, let's talk about the food! We savored the excellent and authentic carne asada, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The fried cheese was a delightful treat, and the tejadas paired perfectly with the gallo pinto, which was simply delicious. Every dish had that homemade touch that made it feel special.

I've been a customer since before it was a restaurant, and a few days ago I went to buy some plantain slices and wanted to buy a salad separately. I wasn't happy with the owner's response. I felt a little embarrassed, even though she knew it wasn't the first time we'd bought from her and supported her business. We highly recommend her restaurant, but I felt like the service changed after I asked for the salad. I was going to pay for it; it wasn't going to be free. First time trying Nicaraguan cuisine and went with the (very nice girl) server's suggestion given by the server to try the Enchilada as it's not your typical Mexican style enchilada ... And she was spot on.

The fry bread style tortilla was also homemade and everything tasted great and fresh. Came with some interesting condiments - Ketchup, mayo, vinegar onions, and slaw. Slaw pretty good too - Not sweet at all, which is how I like it

This enchilada was not spicy at all, so you'll have to add your fav hot sauce. Great for kids who don't eat...
