I have been a regular at Bartolino's restaurant for the past six or seven years, and I cannot emphasize enough how consistently exceptional both the food and service have been. However, today I want to highlight a specific server named Kylee, whose dedication and outstanding service have truly made my dining experiences memorable.
Whether I visit Bartolino's for business or a casual dinner, Kylee's attentiveness and professionalism never cease to amaze me. From the moment we walk in, she ensures that our drinks never go empty, always making sure we have everything we need. Her friendly demeanor and warm personality create a welcoming atmosphere, making us feel valued as customers.
What sets Kylee apart is her genuine passion for her job. She goes above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience is impeccable. Her knowledge of the menu and willingness to offer suggestions have greatly enhanced our meals. It is evident that she takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about the satisfaction of her customers.
I truly believe that there is nothing Kylee could improve on because her service is already outstanding. She consistently exceeds our expectations, and her commitment to providing exceptional service is commendable. Bartolino's and their management should be commended for having such a remarkable individual as part of their team.
If you are looking for a restaurant with top-notch food and exceptional service, I highly recommend Bartolino's. And if you have the pleasure of being served by Kylee, consider yourself fortunate. She is a true asset to the restaurant and undoubtedly contributes to creating an unforgettable...
Read moreOn December 8th, a group of 6 of us friends met at Bartolinos South County for our Christmas dinner. We arrived at 4:30pm. I am allergic to garlic so I asked my waiter if there was something on the menu without garlic. His response was that everything had garlic except the ice cream. I asked about carbonara with no garlic and he said "I can make that happen." Well, he brought out a dish of the pasta my friends got as sides to their meal with some bacon on it. I took a bite of the pasta and bit into a piece of garlic. I did not want to complain but my friend wanted to try it and she commented that it was really garlicy. I only had a few more bites after that and had it boxed up. So the waiter basically lied to me. This was not a freshly made dish. It was just 2 helpings of side pasta with bacon sprinkled on top withf some kind of tubular pasta instead of spaghetti type pasta. Now where he got the price of $28 for this terrible dish....I don't know since it wasn't on the menu. No salad and not what it should have been! At 7pm our group was asked to leave because people were waiting for our table. Have NEVER been asked to leave a restaurant. Found that to be really rude since we spent well over $300. Called the manager after I left and his main thing was that I should have talked to him before I left. Regardless, he should have been apologetic and done something to make me want to go back. That did not happen. Not a great way to end our Christmas party. I will say I had a bad meal at Joe B's a while back and that manager did all the right things to make sure I came back. Kudos to Joey B's. We will definiteely not go back...
Read moreWe stopped going (after many years of frequent visits) about 4- 5 years ago after three bad experiences in a row. Then tonight, we decided to give it another try.
Clearly, someone has figured it out. The atmosphere was pleasant, the menu is comprehensive without being huge and the service was excellent (server confused our drink order, but otherwise spot on.) Husband had a house salad and shrimp scampi with green bean medley. I asked for the tutto mare in light tomato sauce (which I used to lovelovelove.)
Salads were served promptly and, while a bit overdreassed, contained washed greens and was a nice portion to start the meal. I wish they wouldn't serve rock hard butter with the bread, but that's a small complaint.
Our entrees came out at exactly the right time, hot and fresh from the kitchen. Had I known I was going to get something like 3 pounds of pasta dish (I am not exaggerating) I'd have ordered a half portion and still taken home enough to feed two people an entire second meal! Upside? It was absolutely delicious. Mussels in the shell, scallops, whitefish, real crab meat (no surimi!) calamari, shrimp, mushrooms - all in generous amounts in a lovely, seafoody, light tomato-ey broth. So GOOD!
Hint: I watched several people walk out with leftovers in cardboard containers. Because of the liquid nature of the pasta sauce, I asked the busser to put it in a plastic container so none of the lovely broth would be lost.
All in all, a very nice dining experience. I'm so glad we went back to Bartolino's South and will...
