Went in for a late lunch and ordered a 12oz NewYork Strip(medium well), loaded baked potato no onion, corn on the cob, and a coke. When the meal came the steak was medium rare. After waiting 10 minutes for the server to get back to me like they do after dropping the food off at the table oh and the restaurant wasn't busy I asked her if the steak was medium well just to hear her response and she said no picked the plate up and headed towards the kitchen. After another 10 minutes a man dressed like a manager returned with the meal there was no you wanna check it out there was no hey im sorry this happened there was no nothing he set the plate down turned and walked away. The same steak just cooked a little longer which absolutely dried the meat out and completely removed the flavor, the corn was the same only now was cold, and a new baked potato that was to hot to eat. As I took a bite of the piece of leather that was on the plate I started to cut into the potato and there was a hair. I almost threw up it was so disgusting! As I gathered myself while smh again I found myself waiting for someone to come and ask if everything was OK and by this point the 3 ladies that were at the table adjacent mine were whispering to one another "they messed his meal up AGAIN." Before I lost my cool I quietly got up walked to the front door and asked the hostess if she could grab a manager for me. Believe this or not she couldn't find him yes the man dressed like a manager that delivered the food the second time the very one that dropped the plate at the table didn't say a word and practically set a land speed record walking away. I waited maybe 5 minutes and when the hostess returned she told me that she was sorry for the delay that he was outside smoking!! Yes directly outside the front door stood the main man with a cloud of smoke looming over his head that everytime the door opened that second hand smoke would get sucked right into the restaurant. At this point I realized that it wouldn't matter what I said and who I said it to it would be for not so I decided to go to the people and leave my very first negative review. If by doing this keeps someone from wasting their time or money then great I would hate for one of you guys to go to this restaurant and the same thing happen to you. Now I will get off my soap box and...
Read moreWhat a really great place to have a nice family dinner we spent probably about an hour and a half there talking chitchatting. All cell phones were turned off what a beautiful event and a great time. We did show up on Friday night about 6 p.m. and they told us there was a 30 minute wait we said OK no problem we went back out to the car hung out talked listen to Christmas music and within 12 minutes we received the text message that our table was ready so they definitely delivered quickly I had the steak which honestly was a tender cut of meat, but not very seasoned or flavorful. I needed the barbecue sauce which was good and zesty to go along with my steak. The wife got the chicken, which was amazing. My daughters, each got the burgers which were also amazing and the young boy got the kids menu chicken tenders. What she said were the best eat ever had lol, we did get an appetizer was mushroom covered in a cheese sauce, which was absolutely delicious. Everybody loved them and the drinks kept flowing. The girls got raspberry lemonade the wife and I got sweet tea and the boy got a Coke all in all great night so for the five of us the total bill came up to $125 and we left a $25 tip which was very reasonable, because our waiter was really good energetic it was actually his birthday night and we wish him a happy birthday. He came around many many times asking if we needed anything and promptly gave us new drinks without us asking very nice on all great...
Read moreThe Longhorn Steakhouse on Harrison Avenue consistently surpasses other locations in the Cincinnati area, earning its place as my top choice for a satisfying steak dinner. Our recent visit, like many before it, reinforced this opinion. While Longhorn in general offers excellent value, the Harrison Avenue location elevates the experience.
From the moment we arrived, the well-maintained surroundings and ample parking were noticeable. Even with a short wait, the comfortable waiting area made it pleasant. Our server, Arden, promptly greeted us with a warm smile and attentive service throughout the meal. She was knowledgeable about the menu and happy to accommodate our requests.
The food, as always, was cooked to perfection. Our salads were crisp and fresh, the baked potatoes were and the steaks were flavorful, and cooked precisely to our specifications. The quality of the meal rivaled that of much pricier steakhouses, solidifying my belief that Longhorn provides the best steak value in the area.
What sets this particular Longhorn apart is the consistent quality of the food, the exceptional service, and the overall management of the restaurant. It's clear that they prioritize cleanliness and customer satisfaction, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. If you're looking for a great steak in Cincinnati, the Harrison Avenue Longhorn is the...
