I've been here twice now and have loved it both times. A family run business. They are so nice and the food is delicious! I saw where some people commented on getting food in carryout containers. The first time I went one of the entrees was in a plastic carryout container. Everything else was on a plate/ bowl. If you want fine dining go to a fine dining restaurant. This is a simple Asian restaurant. The people are welcoming and the food is great and the place is clean. That's all I'm concerned with. We've had the ton katsu, teriyaki, miso soup, firecracker roll, fried rice, and harumaki (spring rolls). Everything was wonderful. This is our new go to place for Asian food.

I can only attest to delivery from Door Dash but I felt absolutely ripped off, especially with their exorbitant delivery fee. For the sushi, it was no better and was as small as the cheap premade Kroger sushi down the street. As for the gyazo, the sauce cup spilled all over the inside. There was no separation between the cold sushi and the hot gyazo. This was not a great first impression. I did like the gyazo though. Nice and crispy.

I loved this sushi place, my sister and I went here and the restaurant felt small but cozy. We ordered 2 dragon rolls, one firecracker roll, and spider roll, they were filling and flavorful. The dumplings we had as an appetizer were just as good with and w/o their sauce. It was a bit of a wait for the food to get to us but it was worth it.

Udontastic!

I'm a sucker for Japanese food. My childhood home was decorated with an assemblage of Japanese-related art and reading. (My father was a martial arts teacher & had a soft spot for Kendo.)

When my father got his first college degree, I remember going to the only Japanese restaurant in Cincinnati in the 80s - The Samurai - but I don't remember the food. The Samurai was a Japanese hibachi grill & before we could eat, my grilled both her hands on the table. We made a rush trip to the emergency room.

But the allure of Japanese food stuck, and the mystique grew. I learned to love buckwheat noodles. Shabu shabu was my go to birthday dinner when I lived somewhere I could get shabu shabu. Sushi is my friend. So when my Lisa told me that a Japanese restaurant opened in Dent, less than 5 minutes from my mother-in-law's house, I was thrilled.

Here's the rundown: sushi is good and standard. The dumplings and the shumai are both must haves, particularly if you're dining on a cold evening; the noodly, porky goodness is perfect to take the chill from one's bones. But the udon is where it's at. My Lisa believe that they make their udon in house & I don't know if that's the case, but the noodles taste like they're made homemade. They are plump and flavorful, without losing their chew. The sauce is light enough so as to not detract from the noodles & the vegetables aren't at all mushy. The only downsides to the restaurant that I could see was that the TV over their sushi bar was distracting & they didn't have buckwheat noodles. Small things, and enough to take them from a 5 star to a 4 star in my opinion, but piddling things. You should go here.

If you're in Dent (And why wouldn't you be?) this is the place to go. They...

This is the worst food I have ever had. Sushi bland no taste full of grease. Salmon was microwaved with no flavor what so ever. Fried rice no veggies and was old. Took one bite refused the food and they called the police on us... Poor food and service! Food served on paper plates. I can't...!

Wow... You respond and don't tell the truth. You are the only restaurant that we have been to serving food on paper plates for dine-in due to COVID...?

My husband never went home TO GET MONEY. I did not want to use my debit card to pay for the FOOD. I did not want you to have me personal info. Which I stated to you & the police. He went to the ATM machine across the street. We do not live near your location he never went home.

The food was of poor quality and the service was terrible. I've never been to a restaurant and refused the food due to the quality and the police was called on us... Point Blank! You charged us a $2 up charge for fried rice that was plain with no soy sauce the rice was old and just had old eggs in it, no veggies no nothing what did we pay $2 extra for? You bring the rice out first before the rest of the food was ready set it on the table with us to get cold.

For the sushi to be deep fried it was still cold and raw in the middle and it was greasy. The salmon was overcooked with no flavor. The food was sub par at best.

The really sad and shocking part is you called the police on us. You did not try to meet us halfway to pay half price or nothing. It was an embarrassment an insult and very unnecessary. This was not a police matter (criminal matter) it was a civil matter between business owner and...

Be aware that they don't like service dogs here. I went in with my boyfriend and medical aid service dog. My dog is very well behaved and well trained. We went in and sat down, my dog laid down under the table and before we had a chance to do anything or even look at a menu a woman very rudely told us " no dogs no dogs, leave him somewhere no dogs" my boyfriend was confused and mentioned he was a service dog. He had a vest on that said that. The woman told us to leave my service dog outside dog and kept insisting that no dogs were allowed and she wouldn't have it. In Ohio and by federal law it's illigel to kick a service dog out, but I was to in shock to bother arguing as she seemed pretty upset about me having my service dog as she was raising her voice at us telling us to leave, and I was close to crying, so we just left and went somewhere else. If you have service dogs I wouldn't come here as she was...
